The second and third series suck. The first series was ok... not great. It's nothing compared to NGE, Gundam Wing or Blue Sub. No.6.

It's stupid, the tv show was such a take off of Pokemon, which meant it was going to be crap. The toy things I never got into, but I wouldn't say they were too bad.
Through the series it did get worse and worse (I didn't watch it, but the tv was on it when I was on the computer) and each generation of kids looked the same, except a few minor differences.

Don't get me started with Pokemon. It sucks like SH**!!! However, we must keep in mind that these shows are targeted at younger viewers, from 5-9 i think.

I never really watched it, but if it's worse than pokemon...

Hey, does anyone know if Melissa Fawn voices a character in one of the series? I heard that she did. I like her voice.

Digimon was made my the Pokemon creators and Digimon technically came 1st...thus Pokemon is a rip off...

I think its quite good Digimon, just the way they turn into completly irrelevant stuff and when they get tired turn into blobs of...Bird shit. Amusing.

I reckon Digimon is pretty good, its quite interesting. But i'm too lazy to wake up early to watch it now.

I like the first series of Digimon, and Pokemon is a lot worse than Digimon.

Yes, the second and third series were bad, they really shouldn't have made them if they were going to be that bad.

At least the first didn't suck.

i think in my opinion that digimon is quite good but the
first and theired seson were crap the sconds the best they
got a movie based on it but its craper then pokemon
and man pokomon they r just things that go

Well, I liked digimon for a while cause instead morals and cuteness, most of the time they got down to just fighting, which was sometimes cool.

I hate all anime though, I am a fan of American Cartoons, and hate the way the Japanese do their cartoons. So pokemon, digimon, dbz and all the other hundreds of Japanese cartoon spawn, Suck BIG!.

Sorry if I offended anyone, but don't get me started cause I can spot errors and dumb cliches everywhere in japanese flicks.

I am sort of a fan and it not because I am 9 it is because I like collecting cards and if there is one thing Pokemon and Digimon have alot of it is cards but I do not collect them any more now I collect Yugoh any ways the first seson of Digimon caught my attenchon but after a while even the first seson got bad because that Matt one kept stressing out he is stupid and wierd and so was almost the whole show.

Don't dis anime man! Ok... I reckon DBZ, Pokemon, and most of digimon suck. But things like Evangelion and Blue Sub No.6 rule... not that I'm saying things like Simpsons, South Park, Family Guy and Futurama aren't good... I like them too. You shouldn't have said they suck but rather you dislike anime.

Tori I like your viewpoint. It is weird and stupid that Matt keeps stressing out and needs time to "think" about stuff. It really just makes the series drag and makes it boring.

I like anime that have morals... it's a lot more interesting than just fighting, which is why I like NGE and BSN6. Digimon and Pokemon don't leave anything for thought, besides the overall boring and uninteresting plot. But as I said before, Digimon is targeted at younger viewers.

The Digimon show was created after the digital monster toys were such a hit to the kiddies. The first and second season were good, the movie was okay, the third season was stupid and the forth season sucked completely.

Personally, I like the better anime such as Inu yasha, Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040, Guyver, Cowboy Bebop and so on.

Well that's very hypocritical of you.
And DBZ is the only anime I like. It has lot's of violence. Hoorah!
Morals suck, there is only one thing worse than morals, and that is That 80's Show (I shudder at the thought of it).
I don't want to learn from TV.

Not really. DBZ is a horrid, horrid example of serious anime. The Japanese version isn't much better than the American, it may not be censored, but the story line is pathetic. However, I've got no problem with you liking it, it's just those programs are geared more towards a younger age (again, no offense; I watch Hamtaro, so I really have no room to talk.) and cause a certain amount of stereotyping by those who don't know anything better than DBZ or Pokemon. So, I guess what I'm trying to say is that Canned has a valid viewpoint.

Mmkay but what I was saying about the hypocrisy was that CG said he thought certain shows 'sucked' but then went on to tell Shadestorm not to say that things sucked.

And yes, the storyline is quite bad on DBZ, but I don't learn anything from it and that's what counts. :)

We only just got that and I havn't seen it. Is it really as bad as it looks?

Yes. Absolutely. But God, it's so tacky, you can't help but love it. Also, I feel almost nostalgic looking at it... it reminds me of old cartoons I watched when I was little.
