Internet Files

I have removed all the items in my Temp. Internet Files folder, and now I found out that I was suddenly not a member of the Oddworld Forums anymore!
I have submitted again but does anyone else has/had this problem? (sorry for any bad spelled word you guys...I'm a Dutch
girl doing her best to spell things corrcetly:fuzsmile: )

I know that some cookies are stored there, which are what hold your forum membership information. Next time, don't delete the files by hand. Use the Internet Properties Interface and select to delete the temporary Internet files.

Hey Abelover! Welcome to the forums...
You could change your password to something you can remember, you know... Just go to User CP, and then to Edit Password. When you delete your cookies, you won't lose membership to the forums, you just get signed out... It is similar if you use some-1 elses computer, you can just sign in... So I suggest you change your password...

I'm just a newbie, I didn't know that:fuzzle:
So, do I get this straight: I should not remove the cookies from the Internet files folder?:fuzconf:
Just remove the files from the Internet Explorer?
Sorry if this is spam guys:(

My brother once deleted everything in the TEF folder. Nothing happened.

And if deleting cookies is waht caused the problem, then don't delete them. You can still remove your other files though from TEF. That should be ok.

And just wondering, was there a reason you decided to delete everything in your TEF folder?

...

I thought that would make my PC faster:fuzzle:
It didn't:fuzmad:
