Scrabs will always be the best hunters on Mudos no matter what happens, seconded (is that a word?) by Paramites...even if they DO taste yummy!:D

Scrab Cakes anyone?

Hmmm... is this all I get? Just compliments? Doesn't anyone want to share their ideas? Any theories about scrabs that you have thought up or any alternative ideas to the ones I had?

I think that the Scrab "tap" dance has more meaning than simply grinding it's food. When it kills a mudokon, it does not do it's dance. I've noticed it only does the dance after an engagement with another Alpha male. My thought on scrabs is that they are smarter than people think and that they have this "honour" thing and that the dance is more of a ritual than just a means on making the carcass more eatable.

well, I'm not sure... it is only hate. hate to the other scrab he finnaly killed.

I think the tap dance is a teritorial thing. It could be an instinct of the scrab to trample the loser to make sure other scrabs in the heard know that he is the victor, and that he is the new (or old) leader. This instinct may be alive in alone scrabs, explaning the vaults and temples.

Well either that, or a scrab likes to tenderize it's meat before it eats.....I dunno, they always struck me as being omniverous horse-like creatures.
