Killer Abe
 

Okay in AO (not so sure about AE), when you are in the temple of Paramonia, to solve some of the puzzles, Paramites must be squashed, smashed, exploded and stuff like that. I am not so sure about Scrabania though. And in MO you have to go through the mine field and many following Paramites are killed (well they aren't killed but they should be. If I stood on a mine I would have the courtesy to die)
Now you must be saying, "So what? It's fun to kill them." And so I will get to my point. The wildlife is supposed to be protected from death, and yet they are killed for far worse reasons than in RuptureFarms.
If you get where I'm coming from please explain to me what gives Abe the right to kill the poor, ugly things.

Well, Abe does have to kill one scrab.. The other scrabs kill each other in combat.

Well, I think Abe is supposed to kill some of them as part of the quest so he is able to become shrykull. In the riddle things in the Monsaic Lines, they say "and the shrykull awakened shall halt the flesh farm..." and like that the spirits of the paramites and scrabs shall raise shrykull or something. But yeah, I do find it weird that he kills heaps of paramites... but he indirectly kills them.. like using bees and rolling stones.

basicly Paramites and Scrabs are sacred and shouldn't be killed...
but if you want to survive you have to kill them, you aren't sucidal.

Hello? Abe has to save Oddworld from doom and gloom at the hands of the industrial races and restore the balance between civilisation and nature. While it's quite a shame that some have to perish, the needs of the many outnumber the needs of the few.

Not that that shouldn't be used as an excuse to go around murdering sacred animals. In MO, if you want to give yourself a good feeling, you'll go through the Paramite Run not killing a single 'Mite.
