A theory on temples.

One of the story stones in AE tells us about the Mudanchee and Mudomo tribes. It tells us that the Mudanchee, who worshipped Scrabs, were a tribe of skilled warrior Mudokons, whereas the Mudomo, who worshipped Paramites, were peaceful and concentrated their efforts on making great buildings and monuments.
However, the Scrab temple in AO looks far better constructed than the Paramite temple. The Paramite temple is made of wood, whereas the Scrab temple is made of stone and must have been a lot harder to build. The Mudomo, being great builders, would surely have put a lot more effort into their Paramite temple than the Mudanchee, who appear to have built a magnificent temple for their Scrabs.

So here's my theory. The two tribes built each others' temples (i.e. the Mudomo built the Mudanchee's temple for them, and the Mudanchee built the Mudomo's temple) as a sign of peace, friendship and respect for each other. I think it sounds very plausible.

I think that's a great theory.

Great thoery. i cant really find no hard evidence against it because we dont know much.

Well wont it mess it up more.

mudomo: you bastard you call that a temple
mudanch: hey good job on ours
mudomo let us live in your temple
mudanch: no way
mudomo: but we built it!!
mudanch: so we built yours, i think it looks good. Dont you think
mudomo: IT LOOKS LIKE CRAP
mudanch: were sorry for not being the building tribe
mudomo: even the paramites are spewing up
mudanch: thats because they are speechless
mudomo: i couldn't agree more
mudanch: you see you agree case solved
*mudanch tribes go to there temple*
"mudomo tribes stand there*
modomo: did i miss something?
*mumomo tribe goes to there temple confused*

hmmm TF i guess your right!

That's an interesting theory, certainly, but I think you're not distinguishing the Mudomos and the Mundanchees from Exoddus of which you speak, from the Scrabanians and the Paramonians from Oddysee.

Yo man I think that your theory is cool

The best explain for this is: "Lorne made a fuss in your shaggy head" ;)

Lantra 04-25-2001 12:12 AM

i think they built their own temples.

Niteowl 04-25-2001 02:43 AM

I think they just used the building materials they had on hand...

Cloverfield 04-25-2001 06:57 AM

Although I like your theory... I agree w/ Niteowl. It would depend on what materials each tribe would have available to them.

The Mundanchee (in Exoddus) and the Scrabanian Mudokons (in Oddysee) are both desert dwelling people. They have little vegetation to make buildings out of... so therefore have to use what they have... which in their case is stone and sand.

The Paramonian Mudokons (in Oddysee) are forest dwellers so would have access to all kinds of trees, bark, etc to make structures and cloth.

However, it must be noted that the Mudomo (in Exoddus) have also constructed their temples to the Paramites around the caves that exist in this area. Obviously the areas around Necrum are both "cave like"... although we see a more dry cave with the Mundanchee Vaults... whereas the Mudomo Vaults are more "damp"... like the inside of a cave where steligmites can be found.

Abe Babe...

good theory!

but nevertheless, we hav no idea if the Mudanchee, made the Scrabanian temle or if the Mudomo made the Paramonian temple. We dont even know where the Mudanchee or the Mudomo lived! they could be miles apart but still bury their dead at necrum. Necrum's supposedly where a bunch of mudokons bury their dead. kind of like how the Monsaic Lines are supposed to be a mix of tribes coming together in a place of worship (hense the statues in the back are of bothe Scrabs and Paramites). Therefore, it could be the colaberation of tribes at the Monsaic lines that created the testing grounds for mudokon warriors and the future refuge for a bunch of dominant scrabs n paramites.

I don't think so, that is really weird. It would make sence and all. Maybe they were better with wood, who knows, Wood is easy to build with, yes. But, they didn't have the strengh that the muchacee did or whoever.
