How did you find the OWF?
Well, a poll about how you found the OWF. It'd be funny to see if there are actually any other ways of finding it.
I found the OWF while looking at the Oddworld Inhabitants website. Alcar... |
Here's my story
Well, after I got Munch's oddysee, and finished it, I wanted to get perfect quarma (the first time through I accidentally killed a couple of fuzzles :|). Then when I got to the splinterz manufacturing, I couldn't find that last scrub... so I went to google and looked for a walkthrough when... I fould Oddworld Forums.

I'm the same as Alcar. After I finished MO with Bad, Good, and Angelic quarma I wanted to find when the next one would be out.

I just found it. Typed the keyword "Oddworld" on Google and pressed search... OWF just popped out. |
Is this the seventh or twentied edition of this topic?
I was at Sydney's Oddworldian Forum right from the beginning of its life, after hearing from him about it at the Exoddus Club. |
I had always gone to Oddworldian for extra oddworld information. Syds site had a lot of info I had craved, and lots of content on it. So for the longest time I saw something called oddworld forums. This was back when all of the old old members were just starting off here. I wanted to register, but at the time I did not have an email address set up so I frequently still visited Oddworldian, and occasionally every couple months in that spring/summer the forums just to look at General Discussion and such. I waited until that october 2001. And finally registered, after my email was finally officially set up. So I had knowledge of who was here and such for a while before registering, and just wasnt able to talk to anyone until then. When I did register I figured a lot of people would be talking about MO still because it was only a month away from release, and that there would still be many discussion threads. And Ive been here now for a year and three months, and its still going well. I must say it was a good decision. Ive met many people here I would never have had a chance to meet. I must say it was one of my decisions I never regret. I only regret having had to wait for so long until I was eventually here. So I would say it was similar to Xav, I had always visited Oddworldian for all my info, besides oddworld .com, and then I visited both Oddworld.AU, and Oddworldian when I saw the links on the old forums. Thanks for listening once again.

I think I found it in Oddworldian, I miss that sight.
|
I can't remember. I keep room in my brain for more important stuff.
|
I was browsing around the OW site, happened to see the forums, didn't care (figured I'd stick with my IOA forums). Went back, saw it again, cared a little, but not enough to sign up. Finally went back one last time and signed up.

I am an old member too like Al and Mojo Man and Xavier. I alweys went to Oddworldien for the extra info and I was interested in being part of the Oddworld community. At the beginning I wanted to join Syd's site so much to actually talk to people who have a common interest and that is Oddworld and here I am. Its been a year and two months now since I join back in November of 2001. And I am still going strong. Though I miss Oddworldien in the way it used to be too but that doesnt dampen my spirts of this place. I met a lot of cool people made friends here and learned a whole lot about diffrent things of the internet and Oddworld. I am glad I joined. Im glad I am part of this ever more growing community. I feel old as I grab my cain and walk awey.

Well I can't remember if it was before or after I saw the ending of AE and AO but I used a search engine and I came across Oddworldian. Well the Oddworld Forums were on the old EZboard (Before they had a million ads) so I signed up. And even though I'm not a regular member, I have been here through 3 incarnations of The Oddworld Forums.
