Finally I can post on these stupid things... it took 3 days to just reply to an e-mail. You guys need some more staff...

And?... They obviously need SOMETHING to do, since they aren't approving people's sign-up forms.

wtfz, the mods and admins don't approve. Its a computor, it automatically does it. You have to wait a period of time. It might be a little annoying but thats what hppens o everybody, and your not alone.

He does have a right to complain but I feel it would fit better in Forum suggestion then. Last year it was as soon as you registered you were automatically allowed on the forums. The problem I think the head admins felt what was the problem was that people were registering under non valid email addresses, in which people could be making multiple usernames and acting as different members. Or just registering as I said with false emails and could never be contacted by any of the staff. Example of cloned usernames is the following. Such as a member who was banned a while back: He had the Name Gabbit, Mudokon Hawker, VykkerSawBones, and Mr. Watery SeaRex. This was not the reason he was banned though. What is allowed is an instance which is lets say you are a member and your sibling wishes to also join the forums, that is allowed but must be talked about with the staff first, or just simply mentioned to them, so they are aware, and dont begin to ask questions and you getting upset. I also tell you that Rexy is correct with the statment, although most members who have been here a long time including most of the older members from last year never had to verify the email given, and as mentioned it was changed this past summer due to false emails. The forums mailer is what is taking so long so please do not hold all of the staff responsible for the slow process. Though you are as stated allowed to submit your complaint to us, and also ask the staff about what could be done instead.

Listen, the Administrator has a very busy schedule and so when she does get around to going through every new members account and checking for email addresses and old IPs so that we don't get spammers and double sign-ups, then she'll validate you.

For your information, I was the one who approved you BEFORE you were meant to. Majic_Abe (Dave) a friend of yours gave me his word you weren't no spammer or double sign-up so I validated you BEFORE everyone else.

You should be bowing down to both me and Majic ;)

We are not under staffed either, if we had any more Moderators I think we'd be over doing it. It's just that not every one can be on the forums both day and night 24/7, well except me... :p Besides the current Mods are fantastic, they do there job and to a high standard. Oooo I love the fresh smell of freshly closed topics ;)

The staff can't be on the forum 24/7, and approving people takes alot of time if you want to do it right. Tons of people sign up each day, anyways its the new year and the admins have to have a holiday too.

I apologize if things are running slow at the moment. But I must make everyone aware, that my personal life if going through a lot of difficulty at the moment. In fact it has been for the past few months and just when things seem to be getting better, it goes downhill again. I will not go into detail, for this is neither the time nor place to discuss such, and would be inappropriate to do so. I've even considered resigning from OWF and letting Alcar take over, as he seems to be doing a wonderful job in my absence. Although that's probably jumping the gun a little, as it's not like we get 100 registrations a day or something. But I wanted to be honest and let people know that there is a reason things are running slowly at the moment, both on here and on Oddworld-Web. I've let OWI know about this and they understand, so I hope some of you can also and give me a break.

I guess you just can't win. You see if you spend too much time on here or online, you are considered a loser without a life. If you don't come online enough and are trying to actually deal with your real life problems, then you're also doing wrong. I guess you can't win.

I understand that people wouldn't know this as it's not something I have told people, but at least give me the courtesy of sending me an email or PM if there is a problem, instead of getting on here all angry and worked up. I'll try my best to respond accordingly. And although I don't post much anymore, I do try to look things over whenever I am able to.
