i got a british mag called "edge" and it has a review of halo 2, all the info in it is offical as they stormed bungie for all the info they could get! it says:

"just like the flood delivered a shockto the system to the system in halo, bungie has introduced at least one completely new alien race to provide those 3 way battles in the first game. Tentaitvely labelled brutes..."

so the big hairy ape thing just be another species of elite like i thought it was ment to be. It even has a pic of the "brute force" and says nothing about that being its name. So the brute force is NOT the name of that thing, unless it does'nt work for the covenant...

There is no set in stone date yet atleast for the U.S. My sources from the Halo God tell me August 2003, he allready has it preordered. First one in our area they said.
