Abe's Possession
First I was gonna ask, why was Abe able to possess more creatures in the later games, but then I thought, no, don't act like a Nuub, I can figure it out. And I did, obviously Abe was becoming more experienced with his powers (correct me if I am wrong.) But instead I thought I would ask this , and yes I did do a search for it;
In MO, why did Abes possession victims have that aura around them? Is Abe slipping up on his practices? |
Well as Abe's possession powers grew more prominate and powerful they started to stand out (in a way) more. Now Abe can possess stronger minds like Glukkons, which have a supreem knowledge about the buissness market. This knowledge and any type of knowledge makes a mind stronger thus Abe wasn't able to possess Gluks in AO but as he grew stronger and got better he was able to do so in AE and MO.
Sorry I know that sounds complicated but I can't really explain it right now. |

Use the Spooce Abe
In my opinion MOM is right. I consider the Spooce to be a spiritual energy similar to the Force in Star Wars. There are very little differences between the two in my opinion.

My theory is that Abe gained the power of possessing Paramites and Scrabs when he got those tattos on his hand. And I think Abe always could possess Glukkons, but in AO, he couldn't have a chance, but in AE there's Dripik, Aslik and Phleg.

That's one of the differences Xavier. In oddworld anyone can use spooce to a limited degree by harvesting it from spooceshrubs.

You know you might be on to something MOM. I mean Abe seems to be getting stronger as the games progress. When we first met Abe he was a wimp. Now hes a hero plus he can possess a wide verity of life forms. And he jumps better than ever before. You coluldent jump like that in AO and AE. All you did was run and jump or hoisting your self up. Now Abe bounces around like a ball. You never know he might be strong enough to possess a queen. You never know.

But if he I would think if he is more powerful it would be harder to tell, it is a dead giveaway that they are possessed now.

Or that arua can eather be two things. Something OWI added so you can tell that you possessed something and has nothing to do with his powers and it is just a marker? Or Its the fact that Abe is getting stronger at his talent and soon we could be in for a big surprise. I like the second one because it makes a lot of sense to me. Abe has become stronger in what he does. He can possess Paramites, Scrabs, Slogs, Glukkons, Vykkers, Interns, Sligs, Where as in the beginning he can only possess the sligs. Hes grown since then and I balieve his powers are growing as well.
Now here is a strange mystery. Why in MO did the Shaman tell Abe that he now has possession ability when he knew he had it before? Whats up with that? Could it be his powers are getting stronger like what M.O.M said? Could the Shaman some how be telling that his powers need to be focused more because the inhabitants he must encounter have stronger minds and that now hes telling Abe to channel his energy into an possession orb to better suit the minds of the Vykkers? Thats very interesting. |
