mudokans and birds
hey everyone keeps saying that mudakons are descended from birds. how do you guys know this? did you read it somewhere? if so where did you read it.
|
I think it started as a rummer but it was so good that it now grenraly eexepted... there are things to back it up like how they have feathers and they turn into birds on a regular bassis. :)
|
by mudokans you mean mudokons or am i missing any new character here?
mudokons doesn't have feathers! unless that thing in the head is made of feathers mm.... ![]() i just can't get enough of these things!! :D |
Yeah it is generally believed the ponytail is made up of feathers, I don't believe that though, but I'm probably wrong.
In Dear Alf there are a couple of questions about mudokon physical structure, and how their head looks kind of like a birds. I must agree with this because their mouth does sort of look like a beak, I believe their is some connection between birds and mudokons. |
Hey, we were allready discussing this in the "Abe's ponytail" toppic.
|
i am not asking about the ponytail i am asking about if mudokons descended form birds or not.
|
It makes sense... it would explain why Abe turns into birds when he dies, and why Mudokons have ponytails that look like feathers, and why Mudokons are born from eggs...

Mudokons are descended from birds, and that's straight from Lorne's mouth. Well, his fingers really. Originally it was meant to be a 'secret' thing.
It makes sense anyway - feather ponytails (as shown in the Mudokon Status pic), hollow bones (as they appear in the Mudokon Skeletal pic) and they are reptilian. Wel, it's an Odd World, why not have dinosaurs that evolved from birds? |
I have actually never heard that they were decended from birds...but I guess it makes sense.
|
I was going to post a response to this the other day... and got distracted. Here is the quote of Lorne's that Max is referring to...
:
Abe Babe... |
That is really cool. Ya know...Squeek may be a lesser evolved Mudokon..but I won't get into all that right now. Thanks for posting that Abe Babe, thats the first I had heard of it.
|
so it's a scientific fact! i mean, if Lorne himself said that, i don't understand the point of the discussion hihi
I wonder how mudokons got so big compared to birds, i mean from dinosaurs to birds the seize got smaller  |
It happened the same with humans (probably), since we evolved from small mammals as big as a mouse.
