Rib Cages
 

Someone mentioned this in the "Elum Trap" topic at the old boards. I just have to bring it up again..

Originally, instead of getting distracted by bees, Elum gets caught in an Elum Trap...They rejected this idea, but forgot about one thing, I think.

Do you know the movie at the beggining of Abes Oddysee? Where it shows lines of Mudokons pulling levels that moves these huge rib cages down this thing...What the crap in Abes Oddysee would have big rib cages? Paramites, no...Scrabs, I dont think so...Mudokons, yea right..The only thing it could be is Elums! What do you think?

From the creatures we've seen so far, it is likely to be elums. But certainly there are other creatures on Oddworld with such sized rib cages, we just haven't seen them yet. So it could very well be one of them.

Paramite, scrab, elums, and meeches couldn't be the only things they chop up.

I know..but I figured it had to be something from Munches Oddysee.

Then why haven't we seen a poster to promote, lets say: Elum cookies?

there was one for the paramite pies, scrab cakes and meech munchies.

Or did I overlook something?

Those rib cages in Abe's Oddysee openning movie are too big to be of Elums.
If you compare the proportions of the mudokons pulling levers, to the rib cages, you will see that.
Elum rib cages is just a little bigger that muodokon ones.

BTW, elums look like lizards, or dinosaurs. What do they taste like?

i included Telums in the RPG, i hope Lampi doesn't mind...

mabye they were just using poetic license.

Sorry but what is a Telum? Is it one of those things Lampion drew at the old boards which looked kind of like an Elum?

Hehe, its ok! I don't mind. Yes Pacen, its a creature I drew. It looks like a big Elum, a kind of Elum ancestor.

You are all wrong! I have just played AO. Go to the screen with the falling meat,after the first orb in the game. Look at the backdrop. You shall see a poster saying Elum Bites or something. There's another one on the screen with the Slig in the background,and a mincer to the right.

Look closely next time. ;)

I just played AO after reading this and did not see such a sign. I saw a poster of the anatomy of a scrab and a sign saying "grinding area" with the Scrabcake logo next to it. Are you lying or could you be more specific about the location on this screen? I am using the Playstation version.

Moi? Sligs never lie. Check again at the screen where there is a Slig in background and 1 slave in the forground. To the right of this screen is a mincer. Check it out. :cool:

I just played and I cant find it either..what is a mincer?! Oh, and a while back, on an update for alfs rehab on the main page, alf said he was kicking back enjoying some Elum Jerky...I think he was kidding though. :mad:

i'm on the screen you mean, and there is a poster in the shadows, but i can't make it out.
