vicoty cries
What do Sligs keep saying to each other right after they kill you?

it's just their language. they use it to the security doors as well.
i was disappointed by the fact that sligs can't talk to each other in AE like theyn could in AO. in AE they just kinda shoot you... |

Hi :D
in the german version of Abe´s Exoddus sounds like "Ralf" lol!! Bye, TheBlueScrab ![]() |
wats "Ralf"?
|
Ralf is a German name. Well they can talk to each other in the psx version but not in the pc version. Well I always thought the words they say is laughing. I like this sounds. It would be cool if they had their own language
|
In AO, if you fart where a Slig can hear you, he'll say 'Bleagh!' as though he doesn't like the smell, or doesn't approve of such vulgar behaviour in public. In AE, farting within a Slig's earshot will only make him say 'What?'.
Has anyone else been disappointed by this? It was one of the funniest touches in AO, and it's such a shame they couldn't put it in AE too. Just a theory on the Sligs' 'victory cries'. I think the things Sligs say to each other when they kill you are noises Sligs normally make when they're happy. They have to make the noise on demand to unlock security doors, but in the wild before being enslaved I reckon they'd make those noises to show happiness or contentment, like cats purr when they are happy. Now that they've been forced into slavery and brought up to be nasty, they get sick pleasure from killing things, so they make the noises when they shoot someone. Both of their little sounds have always struck me as resembling a contemptuous snort.
It's a "slap-a-Slig? What the hell were you thinking?" kind of thing. |
