A sad thing has happened today
 

I was driveing home from school when I see this deer run out in the road. I slowed down but an on comming truck just struck the deer and kept going. He went flying across the road like someone picked him up and threw him. Then he went slideing towards me which I was afraid he was going to hit my car. He landed two feat from me in the ditch. I never seen such a sight. Poor deer! Dumb guy he should of stoped when he was at a good distance to see the deer running out. No what does he do? He just speeds up trying to beat it killing it in the process. I tell ya some people don't have any respect for nature. Have you ever seen someone just do a careless act like that? doesn't it piss you off sometimes?

Yeah, I saw someone hit a Raccon once. I felt so bad for it, however the driver did slowdown for a sec then drove on. Unfortunatley my dad was driving at the time and didn't stop but if I got the chance I would have at least called animal controll.

One time the car I was in hit a falcon that had just picked up a mouse from the side of the road. The falcon was okay, other than losing its meal.

Im squeamish so i tend to shy away if i see something about to be hit...it makes me feel ill afterwards...Thats coming from a guy whom planned an Arson attack on someone's house...hmmm

You know, sometimes, you have to realize what could happen if you did slow down froma reasonable speed and swerved. Ahem, car crash.

Anyways, the white tailed deer used to be considered the most dangerous animal in America due to the large amount of car crash deaths caused by them:|

* sigh * please......this talk about car crashes just make me relive my mom's tragic death.:(

Maybe he can't slow down, if the driver tried to slow down he could've cause a larger accident that would endanger more life and maybe his own.

Although i feel sorry for poor defenceless animals being hit at 100 km/h:crying: i think it would better if animal died instead of a couple of innocent people getting the crap smashed out of them.

Why should animals die over humans?

Everything has the right to live, and like I've said before. What gives you the right to kill another person (or in this case, animals).

The deer was in the air for like 2 seconds he did like this akward cartwheel and then slideing towards me. Thats got to hurt especally when a Semi Truck is involved.

Interesting. PA never said what breed the Deer was nor what speed the truck was going at. Kinda makes you ponder whom was in the truck...

Well I don't know how fast the truck was moveing I just saw it hit the deer. It probabaly was a white tail deer. Who knows! All I know is that on this road the speed limit is about 45 mph. It looked to me like he was going faster than that. maybe 55 mph.

This reminds me of an Advertisment I saw for Playstation 2.

In this ad, a deer is frolicking happily in a forest/woods and then ends up prancing onto a road right as a car, travelling at high speeds is driving. The driver see's the deer and puts the brakes on full, the car however doesn't manage to stop and hits the deer.

Now, what happens next is what I really liked, and what I hope to see in the future! :)

The car, is crushed into a near-flat piece of junk metal while the deer just stands there, not moving an inch!!! Still alive the deer, i think, prances off again to the other side of the road.

I cracked up at this ad, and couldn't stop laughing long after! *sigh* Damn scientists better hurry up and invent the damned thing.

I saw a dog get hit by a car, the dog didnt die, actually after it got hit it got up limped towards the driver, the driver got out then the dog bit the drivers leg and limped off, then someone took the dog to the vets!

Ever see the movie Tommy Boy where they hit the deer and then they put him inside the car thinking he is dead? But later on the deer wakes up inside the car and then goes balistic and trashes the car. That part is funny as hell. Tommy is like "That was awesome but sorry about your car mann!" I love that part.

And have ever seen the mini movie called Bambi vs Godzilla? He is sitting eating grass and then all of a sudden Godzilla steps on Bambi. Its scary!

Have you ever seen Bigfoot and the Hendersons where the dad hits bigfoot and the kid wants him to shoot it

I ran over a squirrel, but I was on this road surrounded by forest and it was really dark out and squirrels were just popping out! I was sad I love squirrels.
