Muds from other lands.
What would a Mud from another continent look like? I wounder if we will see one. I would like to see Muds from distant lands come to Mudos and settle or visit. And maybe have them speak different languages. That would be intresting seeing a strange Oddworlden language happen in the game speak. Since you would not understand the Mud or creature you take him to the Raisin so he can translate him to you. That can add a bit of a small challenge in the game play.
Or visit other lands which we probably will. I have no doubt. Maybe cultures are switched on other continents where the Muds and the other natural liveing races are industrial and the industrial races like Glukkons, Vykkers etc are natural? I explore this idea in my fan fic. :fuzcool: |
Xav has a pic from the Daily Deception of a Mud from a Different land
oddworld is 10 times the size of earth so i would say, yes!
that i didnt know
:
it's the one of the daily deception. |
dunno.:fuzconf:

Well Muds just aren't localized to Mudos only. Thier all over the rest of Oddworld. Not to mention the wide variaty of Muds in the various reigons of Mudos, such as the Mulletokon which was located in the southern reigons.
I've got a question:
OWI always told us Mudos was a little continent, right? can someone explain this? :
maybe all the other continents are a bit smaller and maybe their is a lot of continents
well, if you look at the oddworld map, you can see that mudos is HUGE
Facts:
1) Mudos is a very small continent. It's about the size of some place on Earth, but I can't remember the name of this place, which is a shame. It's big enough that there's a lot more of it for us to explore, but it's still small compared to, say, Europe or Africa. 2) The Oddworld Map is seriously screwed up. If you measure it properly, you'll see that it's less than half the diameter of the Earth, when it should be ten times the size (although it's not made clear whether that's in diameter, surface area or volume. My guess is surface area). Luckily, this is one of the points I made about the map's innacuracies, so provided somebody replies to the ad in the latest edition of The Daily Deception Online for the job of cartographer, we should see a significant improvement over Buddy's fake rendering. Don't ask me why Mudos is considered the 'main continent' all of a sudden. I'm taking it as a mistake or misunderstanding. I'm going with the already-confirmed size of Mudos, just as I go with the already-confirmed origin of the Mudokon Paw. |

I dunno the addres of the DD |
taht would be an interesting job

maps
I don't think the fact that the map was inaccurate is that big of a deal. I mean, early maps of earth weren't very accurate were they? Alf, Buddy and that anonymus slig each deserve a pat on back for even trying to undertake such a large project.
yes it's kinda funny to see those oddfellows discovering their world...
like humans, they think that the continent on wich they live is the largest... this map is funny, official but not coherent... :D |
oh well, its still good to look at
Maybe Mudos is the main continent in terms of political and commercial importance.
Could be
Nate_dog_woof, yes I believe it's something like that :fuzwink:
What are the names of the other continents on OW
nobody knows... an other oddworld mystery
Mudos is the main continent because its where the whole Quitology takes place. As for later Quintologys, well they may take place on say a small island or an even larger continent in which that would then be the main one.
I always thought that Mudos would be the only continent to have Muds and species we have seen so far, and that the others would have completely new ones. Maybe keeping a few of the others.
Id say that the species we have encountered already will be on all the other continents. Seems a little strange if they dont have Muds or Gluks anywhere else coz they seem to be the most abundant species on Oddworld.
