Mudakon status
 

CAn someone explain the mudakon statuses to me? I never understood whitch one is which one. Or what is the difference between a poser and a flake.

I don't know that either, but I do know it's MudOkon and not MudAkon. :o

hmmm...I think a flake might be a spiritual mudokon or something..I'm probably wrong...maybe Sydney or Abe Babe could tell us cuz they put this site together...
And because of the mudokon miss spelling I can make a horribly painfull pun...

A SCRUB is a miserable person, that works hard for a low salary, and is in the lower point of the class hierachy ( like the slaves of Rupture Farms).

A FLAKE is, according to dictionary.com:
Slang. A somewhat eccentric person; an oddball. To fall asleep or collapse from fatigue or exhaustion. To act in an odd or eccentric manner.
So, I guess a flake is a hard worker, as the scrub.

A POSER is a person that inspect someone's work(for example, the Mudokon with a spear that is in the tree growers video, where mudokons chant to make trees to grow up again).

Big Kahonees and Shamans are the most spiritual mudokon status. the expression "Big Kahonee" comes from Polinesian cultures(Hawai, for instance) and means something like spiritual leader. the word "Shaman" is used to describe spiritual men in some Native American cultures that have shamanism as religion.

A SHAMANis a member of certain tribal societies who acts as a medium between the visible world and an invisible spirit world and who practices magic or sorcery for purposes of healing, divination, and control over natural events.


As usual, OWI uses our own world, EARTH, and her culture, to stablish connections to the Oddworld Universe.

Or do Mudukons earn their status... After all abe was also a born Flake...

If they do earn there status maybe it will be added into the gameplay...
eg. Abe has to help other Mudikons raise there status so they can help him better...

I guess it's true, Oddguy. Remember that talking about creating characters? you will be able to pick up some common guys and transform them into great warriors or shamans, or big bro guys, and so on.

What about Gabbit status how is that ranked?

and about the ranks in Gameplay. I'm absolutely positively surely ....ly and so on certain that it will be involved. You must give Lulu a higher rank too.

I think Gabbit status dosn't mater since Munch is the only one... So he is the highest posible all the time... :D
