Souled out, what do you mean 'Too many Queens'?

The continent of Mudos (and prehaps the rest of Oddworld?) is dominated by queens. Sould out just wants something new, like a new form of reproduction. Now lets see, Gabbits actually mate without queens, you know male and female..... A Gabbit goes to the Spawning springs to mate and lay its eggs after that they leave the eggs to themselves. Once the eggs hatch they spend thier first four stages developing thier lungs untill thier ready to leave the Spawning Springs and continue to grow...

I see it as more or less the higher races have queens that give birth to their species. Which are the super species of Oddworld such as the Glukkons, Mudokons, Sligs, possibly Kahnzumers and Chroniclers etc. We don't know if Vykkers or Interns have queens but only a possible theory on them not haveing queens.

I balieve Gabbits are more or less a lower species to the super races of Oddworld such as the ones I mentioned above. To me they seem more like batween wildlife and inteleigent life and that is why they would mate with each other. Thats what I think at least. Races that are lower like gabbits and others I am sure of or wild life mate.

I don't see anything about Gabbits previously posted before? Unless I missed reading a reply to the topic?

Vykkers are hermaphrodites, meaning that any two Vykkers can reproduce together. They don't need queens.

EDIT: I just checked the Universe section on the OWI website. Vykkers are actually self-impregnating: they don't need two at all. Now that is ODD!

Erm...yeah, that's what hermaphrodite means, you have both sexual organs...

Yeah, but even hermaphrodite creatures on earth (like worms) need two to reproduce; one give sperm and the other the eggs

going back to gabbits,
quite a while back Kai posted a theory about the hand on the moon, her theory was that the hand represented the higher species(muds) but on MO u see a second moon with a foot on it(gabbit) so in theory they should have a queen because they are a higher species?:fuzzle:

A hermaphroditic creature is one or the other. Some, such as worms, impregnate each other. Others, such as Vykkers, impregnate themselves.

Too many queens? We only know that three Oddworld creatures have queens, and only one each too. Mind you, bees probably have queens, and there are hundreds of them on Oddworld.

Yea I know what you mean especially Yellow Jackets and Wasps. Hey heres a crazy idea what if Munch is considered the queen to his race. I mean when the Gabbiar hatch out of their eggs they will think Munch is their proud Mommie.
