You've got ICQ, AIM but what about MSN?
Hiya Administrators,
Can you add an MSN option to the member lookup? It could be voluntary... So if people dont want to make their MSN available, that would be alright! Cya, ~Miss Odd Serenity |
That is an option on vBulletin, but we'd have to see what public opinion says :D

Okay! I think that would be a good idea... I dont use AIM or ICQ, MSN is a better option for me! I'm not sure, do other peoples use MSN?
~Miss Odd Serenity:D |
I got an adress, but I'm never on MSN :fuzwink:
but I like the idea |
I like the idea. I use MSN, so I can always be found there.

:D |
Go ahead and make an option for MSN things. I'd like it.
Public opinion seems to say it doesn't give a damn. |
Hmmm, it seems that MSN wasn't a feature I thought it was because it did have ICQ, Yahoo and AIM.
Weird. Maybe the makers of vBulletin dislike Microsoft! Alcar... |
Well if you can make it an option...I think it would be very very good.
|
Concured.
|
Seconded. Or thirded. Or whatever.
|
Technically isn't not a feature of vBulletin... but you can also specify custom registration fields in vBulletin ... so with a bit of fiddling it can certainly be included.

Thats what i was thinking too, except for the fact that with the way the profile page is set up that things get messy when you insert a custom field.
Alcar... |
Why don't you just write a hack for it?

So?

The MSN field has now been added. If you go to your user profile you will find it under the Additional Information section. I guess it's kind of out of place to the others, but as it is a custom field, we're pretty much stuck with it that way.
I also got the profile page working with the MSN field showing. Abe Babe... |
Great!
Hopefully I won't be influxed with people wanting to be on my list </sarcasm> Alcar... |
