Does anyone know whether Munch's Oddysee will be available for PC and if yes which would be it's minimum specifications???!! Thanx!!!  |

I lost interest in Oddworld when I got a game boy advance for my 16th birthday and I got Super Mario Advance. Two months of being a Marioaholic, my interest in Oddworld returned. Sometimes, it just turns off and on...

I am really sorry for this eruption of anger, but it drives me nuts! I know the guys that post post topics like this don't know it, but there are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many of them. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH! I wrote to the forum because I had previously visited the "You know you're an Oddworld Fan when..." section of this site and it was giving some hints that Munch's Oddysee would be available for PC and considering that XBox is a Microsoft product!!!! Anyway thanx for encouraging me not to write in this forum again!! :p |
Don't leave, nianiaonnni. You'll find these forums extraordinarily interesting, informative, and entertaining. I agree with you that Cool Paramite's response was extremely rude, but it was also out of character for him. As in any community, there are some real jerks running around here, but CP is not one of them. And furthermore, the jerks are far outweighed by the friendly, helpful, and informative members. Our moderators alone are a shining example of the high quality of these forums, and there are many others.
Xavier, I think it's expecting a lot that a person is going to find Alf's FAQs all that readily. And regardless of how easy it would be to find this information, a curious person should be able to post a question to these forums expecting Oddworldians to give as complete an answer as possible in a polite manner. Fellow members, if you see a post and your response is "Oh, no, not this again!," just press the "Back" button on your browser and move on to the next topic. It's not necessary to respond to each and every topic. |
OK, this is just a rumor, so don't take it too seriosly. I heard MO may come out for PC; but it will require a Pentium 7 processor.
So basically, we'll be waiting a while. |
That's interesting, considering the XBox is powered with currently available technology (a Pentium III, I believe) running not even at a full gigahertz. Apparently, MO on the PC is going to be way better than on the XBox.
You might want to double-check the source of your rumors. |
Yeah, it says Pentium 7. I doubt if it's true, though.

I was suggesting that you verify the reliability of the source of the rumor, not the rumor itself. If it's just some kid talking smack somewhere, then I don't think that's worthy of posting here as "information." The suggestion that an existing game could be ported to another platform but require a processor that is 3-5 years from existence is rather laughable.
