Abe's Oddysee
I have Abe's Oddysee on PC, but recently when I try to load it, I get a black screen that doesn't go away until you shut the program down.
This is very frustrating, as i'm trying to finish the game again with a perfect score, but I can't if the program won't run. Has this ever happened to anyone, and does anyone know how to fix it. |
You could try uninstalling and then reinstalling the program.
One thing I'd recommend before doing that is to keep a backup of all your .sav files. Usually you'll just find these under C:\Program Files\Abe's Oddysee. Although it's likely that they won't be deleted when you uninstall/reinstall, it never hurts to keep them safe. That way if they are removed, just copy them back in again. This way you will be able to continue trying for the perfect ending without having to start again. Abe Babe... |

What OS are you running? What hardware do you have in your PC (CPU, video card, RAM)? Without this information, it's kind of hard to give you any thorough help.

I tried uninstalling and re-installing, but it didn't work.
I've already cleaned the CD several times, and it can't be the actual D drive, because it's the only CD that's not working. I'm operating on Win 95, I don't have a video card and I'll have to check out the rest of the details. Thanks for you guys trying to help me, it's very frustrating not being able to fix this. |
