I was wondering today what your thoughts were on souls, like do animals have them, do humans have them, stuff like that etc.

I believe humans have souls, like animals, I do not believe in God, but I do believe that souls go somewhere, or look after the people who are dear to them.

When I think about souls, alot comes to mind. I instantly am reminded of love. It seems that as we die, wich we all will someday, our bodies fade back into the ground from where it came. But our soul, a sort of inner being, the true part of you that shows love, and all the feelings that humans possess, lives on. How can we proove we have souls? Well the best conclusion I can think about is if we actually see one, sometimes even feel a presence. These are often good feelings from those that have the knowledge to see it that way. Many people who have died, are believed to have gone on...but where? Some say Heaven, others say to a different world. Whatever be the true place, the thought of souls amongst us and beyond can be both comforting, and good to know. Try thinking of yourslef not even existing, to the point you yourself don't even know you exist, and you are simply nothing, and you have no knowledge of being nothing because you are. It is hard to imagine and breaks alot of boundries. So yes I do believe humans and, possibly animals possess a soul. Just some of my broad thoughts and not to much my exact opinions.

Well i have a really logical thinking. I think that everything in the world has soul. Since people say that humans have soul and we're only made of carbon, hyrdrogen and alot of chemicals like that, shouldn't rocks or grass have soul. They are made of carbon, hydrogen and stuffs like that too.

Your saul is what makes who you are without it you will be a walking carrot with no feelings and no personality a walking body. I balieve in sauls because it keeps us going in life. I also balieve in God not as what you may think him to be but more like everything as a whole. Which to me fits the description of God as being everything and being in the image of man. Science doesn't prove that God doesn't exist it only proves that he does exist by understanding nature and the way the Universe works. I know it is very confuseing! When a loved one dies have you ever had a dream about them enjoying themselves and telling you they are ok? I do all the time. It is kind of like a reassureing feeling to me that everything is ok and that the family member or loved one is really in a much better state of being or place. And yes I balieve in heaven.

But I don't think animals possess the same kind of saul in which we do. I balieve that love you get and that companion ship is that same wounderful feeling when you are close to God. For I balieve when you go to heaven or that other plane of existance there is no need for pets or animals because everyone has that love of God which fulfills those needs and wants.

Whatever is beyond death, it has to be something extrodinary! Thats my 2 cents.

I believe in reincarnation of the soul - and that all living things have one possessing their body.

The soul is not a conscious thing... but it holds the essence of a personality. I think the soul and mind are entirely different things, and although plants don't have a conscious psyche, yet they still have personality traits deep inside.

I'm not Christian, but I'm certain God does exist. However, since I don't follow His path, I don't believe that my soul will go to hell or anything like that.

You must have alot of Family members die on you...

Souls, people have them. The bad stuff they do, the darker their Souls become, attracting more bad Karma. However, if your good...you just get ignored by the whole Karma thing.
I dont believe in God being everywhere, i believe he is just sat up there, smoking Pot, waiting for the world to end. Maybe having a laugh with Lucifer...I dont think plants have Souls or rocks, maybe animals. I also dont believe God loves us. People who believe that Heaven is this wonderful place are basically afraid of Death...

Well in the last few years my grandparents died. I was close to them. It was like when that happened my faith has changed. ya know?

No. I believe in God, sure, but i believe he's a big, black gay guy with bright Pink hair called 'Prague'. Jesus wasn't white either, he was Japanese...just so you know.

Souls. The one thing no one can take from you. Immediately like kai Love and friendship spring to mind. I believe absolutly heavenly people get turned into guardian angels. Mostly good but a bit bad people are angels and mostly bad but a bit good people are reincarnated. And mean people like the creators of the teletubbies are sent to hell. All things have souls. You choose what you do with it. We are all different. We are all the same. If you don't understand don't try. Its me being serious in what I believe in. And that still dosn't make sense. Remeber we are all different, but all the same!

I'm not really sure what to believe means to me....so I can't really tell ya what I believe! ;)

Love is based in the mind. Its been proven.

I believe that some people have souls and others have already given them up. I do believe in God, im just not religious. As an educated guess, I would have to say that Jacob is right and God probably does smoke pot. But i'm not quite sure about everything else.

This thought has been buggin' me since I was in fourth grade, What's it like to die? Where do our souls go to? Is there even a heaven or hell?. I kept thinking of this and attempt to try it...but I always fail. Somebody stops me from doin' it. That's the first time I learned about suicide. I always wondered if there was a heaven or hell. If there wasn't, then where would our souls go to? would they be in other living things or reborn in another body? There's so much to ask about death. Also what's our purpose in life? Is it to just live, work, and reprouduce? Or were we born for a certain destination? I guess i'll never know till later on in my life, when i'm finally rested upon the dark cold ground. I guess people who are just pure evil are left behind, or if the soul has unfinished "buisness" to attend to. And the soulds who have loving hearts and a warm loving personality passes on.......somewhere into the unknown is what I can say so far.

Hello Alcar. I think we all have souls, but I do not even begin to understand about them. I think that our soul makes us who we are and when we die the soul moves on, like to another life or something like that. It is a complex subject and many people have different views in this area I think.
