Swearing Rules
 

Well I just wanted to know what you saw as being 'bad' swear words, I think that we need some sort of regulations on it.

I know the rules say that there is to be no swearing, but I don't think total censorship is the right way to go.

There is one word that won't be tolerated though, and you can all guess which one that is. And for the sarcastic smart people we have here, that will probably reply saying "What is that word you were talking about? ;)" then that word is the 'f' word.

But, I mean that the whole forums should have some sort of swearing rules.

I don't ever swear my self but as long as it is used appropriately then I don't mind it. What irritates me is when people swear excessively for no reason.

Yea I know what you mean! especally when someone is constantly useing the F word after every other thing thay are saying. Like "Lets go to the F place or Fthat or F this. It really is annoying!:rant:

Not only annoying, but immensly un-attractive.

By the way, PA, Hell isn't swearing. And Shit soon will not be swearing....

I don't think swearing should be allowed at all!

Oddworld forums should have a rule like this: Swearing is not allowed, whoever breaks this rule will be dealt with.

I think some of the less "extreme" words should be permitted, as they are useful to illastrate some points when ya feel strongly about it, but they should'nt be allowed when they are being used to offend people.....am I making sense?

Here are the words which are allowed(should be): Piss, shit. Um, wanker. Oh, and ass. Faggot. Log. Leak. Butt. Franger. Bitch. Censor the rest.

I've decided that there shouldn't be any swearing.

I won't censor any of those words, except the 'f' word. After talking with Sydney, I agree with him on a lot of things.

I should have said something earlier. I'm creating an announcement on this as well. You should ALL read it, it will be in every forum. And i'm closing this topic.
