This is a speculation thread on the entertainment on Oddworld. I am focusing mainly on television. We know that the Vykkers, at least, have limited animation skills. One example is the little cartoon about what Munch was supposed to do for Irwin and Humphrey and another is Shrink's CG face. We also know that the industrialists have various TV channels. FUD network and the Magog On the March are two news channels. But what else is there? Are the Mudokon Tossing tournaments televised? How about Scrab-O-Rama? Give me your thoughts.

Well, there WAS that pic of the Slig Valet (or so I've been informed) hosting that Mudokon Tourture Show. I can't exactly remember what it was called, but the dark "cirusy" feel to it and the sterotypical gameshow look of the pic made it look like something cool for an Oddworld game that would be not as happy as Munch. ...Real demented looking, as I remember.

They could show recordings of the tear extracting process.

Recordings of Abe's death... Eeer, technically, Abe doesn't die. He isn't meant to die in the story, but anyway, the birds reincarnate Abe whenever you die so....

Name That Trauma is the name of the gameshow that the Valet Slig and Emcee Slig host. Oh, and don't forget the Oddworld Nature Channel. I bet those Vykkers love watching all the gory deaths and mating battles.

As for my theories on what's on the Oddworld box, I guess they have much the same as us - news, documentaries, televised sports, crappy gameshows. Would Oddworld have fictional stuff? I can imagine Interns, and possibly Sligs, chuckling away at a corny sit-com, but soap operas and dramas I don't imagine to be in high demand.

My idea's are that they will most likely have the whole Evangelist thing, with some over the top Priest.

Also, some Hallmark stuff were they sell things over Tv.

And the whole spoof of 'Judge Judy'...
