What has happened to Bigface
 
What has happened to Bigface. I didn't see him in AE or heard about him being in MO.

Yea most likely he is just doing his thing now. Whatever that may be. I would like to see the return of Big Face because he was one of my favorite characters. Plus I think he was the best of the wise Muds. I dident like the shaman of MO. He just got too annoying!

I view Bigface as a messenger preparing the natives for Abe. He is like oddworld's John the Baptist and Abe is its Savior. Now that Abe has come to lead his brothers, Bigface has stepped out of the spotlight. He is still around, training natives, shamans and such, but I doubt he will make anything more than a minor FMV appearance in any of the games. I hope he does though.

at oddworld.com in the dear alf section, it was said that big face was abe's spiritual trainer and he taught him all he knew, so now abe is above anything the big face can teach him. its in those archives somewhere i dont know which one.

The Big Face is the spiritual leader of all the Mudokons, his job is in Monsaic Lines. Which is miles away from where Abe and Munch are now.

Well if he is the spiritual leader of all Mudokons then he will training others. That and he would be in contact with the dead of all species and he would be ever more powerful than Abe because he gave him the power to become a shrykull after completing Scrabania and Paramonia. Bigface would be the one making bird portals. He would be the one who tranfers one mud that is in the bird portal. That would be the reason why he doesn't appear in any of the games anymore. My thought anyway

yes concidert Big Face like a trainer, he don't go to the muds but the muds go to him to be trained. he made a little exception for Abe.
Now Abe is trained and can do what he want without the help of the Big Face

Yes but there might be ONE thing that Abe still needs help from Bigface or other spirits. ONE thing that we see all the time in AO, AE and Definently MO. ONE thing he doesn't control, The BIRD PORTALS. Abe doesn't say where the bird Portals are.
