Drama

I'm bored, and I have finished my HSC Drama final performance.
We had to do a group performace with 3-6 people that went for 8-12 minutes. Then I had to do a individual performance that went for 6-8 minutes.
Does anyone else take Drama in or outside of school?
I find it a lot of fun :)

I do drama in school once a week. Whenever I act, people laugh at me. I wonder why? :D

Well, I'm currently in 8th grade...

I go to a three-year Junior High, so when I'm a freshman I will still be there. (7th-9th grade)

I can't do any drama for a year *sob* But I look forward to it, since that will be the craziest act people at home have ever seen... Heheheheeeehh...

I have a question. Does role-playing games improve your acting skills?

I don't know who you're directing this question to, but I guess I'll answer it...

I'm not exactly sure, but it probably improves your improv skills.

Role-playing game can help you with improvising, I am a great fan of D&D myself :D but I was taking Drama first, so I don't know whether it helped me or not. If you're a person who often jumps around and acts out what your character is doing, it would at least help you get used to acting in front of audiences :)

I take drama at school. :) It is a lot of fun, but I like it mainly for being able to explore different roles - I find it so interesting. Although I tend to be very shy most of the time, once I get into costume and character it's easy enough for me to perform in front of people.

What part of drama do you like the most, Kesiah? I personally love facial expressions and voice acting. I'm not so skilled at body language... <.< >.>

I have been told that I am extreamly good at getting into character quickly, and I love making people laugh.
But my all-time favourite Drama experiance was when I was selected to go to the NSW public schools state Dramam camp last year.
It was a full week of fun and interaction with other Drama students, and we all had a great time.
