Sleep, do you get enough??

I never get enough sleep. I go to bed at 12:00 am and wake up at 6:00 am usually. I should be getting 10 hours of sleep at night, but I just can't do that. Before long I'm sure I'll be suffering from insomnia. How much sleep do you usually sleep?

I usualy go to bed around 12:00am. Wake up around 7 usualy. I'm trying to start going to bed at 11:00pm though, so I can get at least a full 7 hours. I have trouble getting to sleep, one time I actualy lay awake until 2.

I get some good sleep time. I go to bed around 9:00pm or 10:00pm and wake up at around 6:00am every morning. So yeah I get enough sleep.

I usually can go okay on 6-8 hours sleep.

Although my main problem is that where I work I have to change shifts every second week. So one week I will be working from 9am to 5:30pm and the next week I am working from 12pm to 8:30pm.

I really hate this as my body never has time to adjust to the different time cycles. I'm okay when I work the earlier shift, but when it comes to working the later shift I am so tired. I get home, have dinner and fall asleep. Then I don't wake up until 11am the next morning, so in some cases I am sleeping over 12 hours. As a result I hardly have any time to work on things in my own time (i.e. my website) or anything else I like doing.

When I first started working the two shifts it was good. I could stay up really late and sleep in. But gradually it all got to me. Even when I came back from the 7 week Odd Tour, the first week I had to work the late shift I got tired again. And it's not a case of getting too little sleep when I'm on the earlier shift, because when I only worked the earlier time I never had this problem at all.

I go to sleep at about 11:00-11:30 and get out of bed at about 8:00. I gotta go to school at nine so :p. I read alot, so I get to sleep late.

Some days I get not very much sleep.

Some days I get lots of sleep.

Some days I don't sleep at all.

Some days I get it just right.

Some days I just sleep.

As you can see, it's very varied. It depends whether I want to go on the computer or not.

Yea I never get enough either. Because of work and school. I usually get home from work around 11:00 at night then I get some sleep at 12:00am or 12:30am and then I wake up at like ten minutes to 6. But I alweys sleep that extra ten minutes and then get ready for another rutine day. I tell ya at times I feel like I am a working Mudokin! And it is alweys annoying every mourning at 5:50 because my alarm clock is my phone ringing. I have no other alarm but my telephone! Yep it sucks!

Well, in the summer, I get my usual 10-12 hours of sleep (from about 1 AM to 12 noon). But since school started, I've only been getting around 6-8 hours. I'm so tired some times, I go to sleep at 8 or 9.

Sleep?...what IS sleep?

Hmm... Me I hardly GET any sleep. Some nights if i'm ever lucky i'll either go to bed at 9:00. On some other days I go to bed at 12:45. Then I wake up at 5:30 to wake up everyone. Thus There's no such thing as SLEEP to me.

Hello MojoMan220. I think I get enough sleep. I sometimes stay up late and sometimes get up early. It depends on my school and job. I stay up later on weekends and sometimes go out with friends. I don't get tired much which is good and I have a lot of energy to spare. :D

I try. I try. But I just don't get it. Why? I wondered. Why couldn't I sleep like other people? I didn't get it. I went to bed today at... uh... I roll over and look at the clock. ...at 22:30 and read for 15 minutes. Then I try to sleep. Stupid brain that's too damn eager to think all the time so it doesn't realize it needs sleep. I lay awake until around 23:15. I hear my parents go to bed. Slowly, the sounds of sleep is all around me. I try to sleep some more. Nothing at all. I roll over and look at the clock. 23:55. Damn! I sigh. Another hard morning was before me. I roll over. Now I'm tired. I yawn. And slumber. Then I open my eyes and dizzily looks around. By the... I roll over and stare at the clock. 3:47! I growl and roll over again. The clocks ticking is too loud for me. Then I realize someone's trying to wake me up. I roll over and stare at the clock. 7:30. In 30 minutes I must be on my way. I sigh and giggles to myself. Another night of wonderful sleep.

*bows* Thank you all for listening to this story about my ways of sleeping. As you can see, I hate everything between 6:00 and 10:00. That not human times to get up on...
