Glukkens did they used to have phsycic powers?
 

Strange but did Glukkens have any phsycic powers before they became the Magog? When they lived as a primative race? In my fan fic I talk about this concept and use it on one of my characters.

Cuz if they had the powers way back then, why wouldn't they have 'em now?

I'd say so. Either that or arms, otherwise they probably would be extinct because they couldn't defend themselves.

I think all that pollution on Oddworld shrank the Glukken down to size and made their arms really big. Like deformed things. If they were something else before the Magog then that would be quite interesting.

yeah, imagine them walking on their feet... that would be cool... they should pull levers and stuff. And they should protect themselfes without Sligs. well, if they were a mystical race, they must had legs, I mean they must build their dwellings, mustn't they. Think about it..........

well... they could use their legs to lots of stuff, now they just don't need them anymore.

i remember hearing that glukkens werent ugly and disfigured like they are now, but they were once attractive creatures, but industrialization and pollution and evil took away what they once had, but dont quote me on this. i think i heard it in the Dear Alf section at oddworld.com but im not sure and i dont kno if its tru

yea they have arms. have you not seen the good ending in AO? they have tiny little legs and gigantic arms and they put theyre hands in theyre shoes. go to oddworld.com and look at the concept art for Mollock.

WOW. oh well they must have had something to protect themselves from the elements of disater when Muds ruled oddworld thousands of years ago

The Glukkons were once a handsome race, so I don't think buildings and weapons were out of the picture.

Besides, the Mudokons hardly ruled Mudos. Until the coming of the Mudokon Moon, the Mudokons and Glukkons lived peacefully.

i dont really think that anyone knows the answer to that. other than the obvious reason that they can't walk on they're legs, but as for how their legs got like that, your guess is as good as mine.

well, since it is easier for them to walk on there hands, I thinl it's since they are build like they are now.

My way out theory is that at a wild party, some clown started walking on his hands to make him seem bigger. Everyone obviously thought it was funny and decided to copy. They obviously thought it was more comfortable and that it gave them power. They showed their new style of walking to the muds and the muds laughed. The Glukkons got angry and decided to cover up their bodies. The muds still laughed and the glukkons became so Pi**ed off that they decided to start killing them and running them into slavery. But they couldn't attack them, so they formed an alliance with the sligs, the vykkers and so forth to rule oddworld and extract revenge on the muds. Calling themselves the Magog Cartel. And thousands of years later, the glukkons rule oddworld and hold Muds in slavery. This is where Abe fits in and he is the savior so he rescues his kind and any other kind that the muds associated with when the Magog Cartel took over and take back what was rightly there's.


That is my wild theory.

Glukkons legs were big one time, but for some strange reason they started walking on their hands. Why?

My theory is when the Glukkens got out of their alchemy age, they became lazy. They wanted to live indoors and go the industrial way to get back at the Mudokins out jealousness. They figured the modern artificial lights were stronger than the natural world. Because they felt this evelution played in over the years. Their bodys became weak and frail do to the constant smokeing and alweys liveing indoors. Soon their limbs changed. Their legs got shorter because they dident want to walk anymore. Their arms got bigger because they did everything with their hands. So now they walk on their arms. Thats my 2 cents!
