And the slig on the extremely far left looks as though he is a regular slig with armor. Cool!! I don't think that is a tambourine, I think is is a mike for MOM. Look closely.

skillya hasn't been in anything yet, but might be in ME [or MI, whatever it turns out to be].
i read somewhere that the slig lost a bet, and i'm sure it was somewhere quite reliable. i'm glad there are some mudokon bad guys, that implies that there will be some slig good guys! :) is Lulu not counted as a good guy, though, as you have to help him [her? i've never been sure. it looks like a bloke] to rise in the ranks, which implies he/she is on our side, kinda like a spy for us. but if that's true, he/she's on the wrong picture. :confused: |

I agree, that thing could just be a microphone...but the lights round the edge suggest tambourene to me, and the Slig's clothing suggests musician anyday.
That Slig to the far left is just a Magnum Slig, the third lowest of Slig Statuses. That Slig can just afford to have a fancier mask and a smarter gun, that's all. Oh dear: most of the creatures we've seen on Oddworld so far have been worker or soldier class - without any uhums, which makes them, technically, neither male nor female. The only reason we call Abe and co 'he' is because they have masculine personalities. Seeing that Lulu has a feminine personality, we can call her 'her' or 'she', even though she's not really female. And we have has Slig characters - the Newscaster and the Operator. |
The magnum slig looks cool. I still think it's a microphone, but we'll see in MO.

i've always wondered this about AO: Rupture farms was never destroyed, abe just switched off the power and killed the bosses. so why didn't the Cartel start it up again? im guessing it was paperwork. |

Rettick: That's exactly what I've wondered. Here's what I imagine: the site has gone into disrepair, vines all over the walls and everything... Nobody wants to go back there because of all the rumours about what happened to Molluck. It's become a haunted castle type of thing, I can think of wonderful cinematic things OWI could do with that for the "Return to RuptureFarms" part of Munch's Oddyssee.
Of course, that's just my opinion... I could be wrong. |
I reccon lulu will be assigned to fix up Raptur farms and Muluck, who has been lurking in the shadows, will try and kill him and take his place... but you need to keep lulu alive.

Well, we all know we're going back to RuptureFarms, and we all know we've got to use Lulu to get into Vykkers Labs.
Perahps we don't all know that RuptureFarms hasn't started up again because, if it did, someone would have to pay compensation (or lots of money, anyway). Right now, Maggie has to pay, which is why she comes into the picture. But if another Glukkon takes the role of boss of RuptureFarms, they'll have to pay. And while lots of Glukkons would really love the important and well-paid job, they're not prepared to sacrafice that much money. I think, while you're getting Lulu up through the ranks of Glukkon life, one factory you have to take control over is RuptureFarms. I like the Molluck vs. Lulu idea. But Glukkons can only spit... |
It's a business feud. Plus, they have Sligs to command.
