Transportation hubs of future games

I would like to see a subway system in future games that connects to the Big cities of Oddworld. These subways should only be used by Kahnzumers and Chroniclers since they live in The Big Cities. It could be their transportation hub like the Feeco Depot is for the Glukkens and the Blimps used by the Vykkers.

I can see in a game where you are out in the middle of a field in the natural parts of Mudos where everything is quite. And then suddenly out of nowhere a small building is erupted by a bunch of strange industrial creatures that work for Chroniclers. The building is just a small shack with a revolving glass doorway and a glass roof staircase going under ground. On the roof of this shack size building there is a led sign saying "The B Line" with the words "Subway" written under it. And then on the walls there can be advirtisements for different Chronicler banks and insurance companys. And that could be one of your tasks. To shut the Subways down because they are destroying ground water which feeds natural parts of Oddworld.

What do you want to see as transportation hubs in future games?

well... why not. I think it would be a good idea, but I wat to see very original vehicles, I just love the desing of the different oddworld's vehicles.

I would like to see what PA described but for the use of any creature and not just the C's or K's. Like industrialised Muds and shtuff...

Well I highly doubt that we'll just see Chroniclers and Khanzumers, we'll proably see wealthy Sligs, Industrialized Muds (like Jacob said), and a wide variaty of strange and bizzare creatures. What I would like to see is prehaps some kinda fancy shmancy creature walking a rediculosy dressed Slog (Kinda like some poodles with those strange haircuts), I think that would be hilarious.

yeah! I want to see that Oddsville, definitly :D

I dont know about the Slogs but i would like to see some really fancy creatures. Also OWI will have to start working quite hard to actually sell their games now as 'Splinter Cell' and 'Black and White II' and 'Project Ego/Fable' are coming out and these are games that would win a war in amazingness. However, OWI have got the whole 'Odd' thing going which already defines them to the gaming industry and the first two games are already known as amazing.

I understand what you mean... but if they do what they planed to de for MO in ME, they will have the same succes as the games you describe above

Jacob 09-07-2002 12:02 PM

Doubtful. Peter Molyneux is like renowened for his ability to create amazing games. OWI really do need to implement tonnes of stuff into their games to even get close to his standard...

Xavier 09-07-2002 01:54 PM

well... I hope so.
I hope they will do some rely amasing games too... Cause MO was good, but not amasing

I'd like to use an oddworld elevator. Or an escalator.
