Abe's Whistling
This may just sound daft but if Abe's lips are stiched together, how can he get his lip in the right shape for whistling?:fuzconf::fuzconf: ?
|
well, I can whistle without making that O shape with my lips... :D
But really, I think that stich is not too short to prevent Abe from whistle. But I'm not sure of it. |
Why does abe have stitches anyway?
|
stiches
Official:
Abe was given those stitches because as a child he was very talkative and annoyingly loud. But over time they were loosened so that he could talk again, but by then he had learned his lesson. My theory: Abe, the Chosen Saviour of the mudokons, could chant and possess creatures ever since birth. When the glukkons learned this they stitched his mouth and told him the story above. He later relearned his inherent ability after his stitches loosened. |
I'm 100% with TheKhanzumer!
It was exactly what I was thinking |
yes, it's not a bad idea, TheKhanzumer...
Poor Sligs... possessed by a child mudokon :D |

Re: stiches
I have to agree with TheKhanzumer. His theory is the best one you'd get.

I know you are new here, but don't dubble post.

It must be quite easy for Abe to whistle and to chant because he does it all the time Abe also laughs with his stitched lips.

you know it's maybe a slig like Wildum who did it. And he only stiched his lips in place of kill Abe
|
no way

2. Expirement-These are glukkons not vykkers. And they wouldn't want to give something like that to the vykkers. 3.Manipulate-Imagine the consequences! A mudokon raised above other mudokons! What would keep Abe from eventually turning on the glukkons? This one is unbelievable since so much could go wrong (from the glukkons standpoint). Perhaps Abe's mouth was sown together by the mudokons who help with Sam's birthing complex. Maybe they saw the child possess a guard and kill it so they decided to keep the whole thing a secret. When the glukkons asked about the stitches they told them that he is to talkative. |
I noticed something, Vykkers sell Muds to glukkons.
so muds are "presicous", why kill them then ? |
Sam
Actually the glukkons own Sam. The vykkers paid the glukkons to take Sam into their lab until she layed enough workers for them.
|
yeah, okay, but some vykkers sell labor eggs to the glukkons, how do you explain that ?
|
When were the vykkers selling the labor eggs?
|
hmmm I was sure the vykkers sold the eggs to the glukkons.
but I cant find it back. I can be wrong |
eggs
That's okay. A lot of it is just interpretation of the information at hand. You might be right, we don't know 100% for sure. But from what I know it just seems more likely that Sam is owned by the Magog Cartel and the Vykkers Conglomerate are allowed to use her for a price.
|
hmmm I never heard about the deal between Glukkons and Vykkers where the glukkons allow vykkers to keep Sam.
strange |

well just press "enter" 2 or 3 times for an other subject then... but don't dubble post :fuzwink:

Yes. In one of the last few levels the Shaman mentions that the vykkers auction off the eggs.:fuzwink: |
yeah! I knew it!
thanx scrabinator |
Gabbit (not mudokon) Eggs
Couldn't he, just maybe, have been talking about the Gabbiar?
|
Well yea TheKhanzumer he was talking about the gabbiar. I believe the only reason Sam is owned by the Vykkers is because the Vykkers are the ones who can treat her medically. She is alweys pregnant with new labor eggs so the Vykkers are like the docters of Oddworld. You go to a Vykker if you need medical attention on Oddworld. But of course they are sadistic so it makes perfect sense why the Vykkers are holding Sam. They have the teachnology to treat her eggs plus they are scientists. It makes perfect sense to keep an egg layor such as Sam in a lab for study. Glukkens don't.
And yes to get onto the topic do you think we should have Abe whistle again? I like his whistling he did in AO. It had an odd song to it. Plus I think you should be abel to have Munch make his lovely song in the gameplay like he did in the first film of MO. That gabbit call is pretty cool. It would be just like Abe whistleing But Munch singing. I would like to see something like that implemented into the gameplay. I can see you playing Abe and Munch and you have Abe whistle at his friends to figure puzzles out like you did in AO and then have Munch sing to open certain doors or special locks that hide secrets to the gabbits species. That would be cool to see. |
I need to re-play that level to check it...
|
In gamespeak he makes a perfect o shape with his mouth.
