What about special events that get stickied to Off Topic...

Member of the week, chat scheduals, Awards given out to forum members, etc.

I personally don't liked the idea of 'member' of the week, for many reasons. One of which, is that there are more weeks than there are members. I think awards would kind of be futile, especially for off topic.

Any other ideas would be helpful to the mods/admins.

Same here, i dont really like the Members of the Week idea, but the other two are great.

We were thinking of handing out some nice custom titles for good members, who have been around for a while (or enough for us to know who you are) and are good members.

This would not be given out all that often though.

Chat schedules would be good, theres one in General Discussion right now, but it has seemed to have slipped away...

Any other ideas on what users could get when they are good?

How about special rankings or something?

When you say special rankings, what do you mean exactly? If your talking about the writing under your name where it says something like "Glukkon Wanna-Be" then thats what I was referring to in Custom Titles.

If thats the case do you mean a long list. Eg the normal;

Slurg
Gabbiwog
etc etc

or just for certain 'milestones' ?
