Back and suffering from sleep deprivation

Back.

45-hour journey.

Haven't slept for 25 hours.

I really seriously despise National Express Coaches...

Welcome back.

Elum's been demoted from Moderator position.

Lampion's no longer could visit the forums very much, gave up Moderator position.

I've been given control of General Discussion and Oddworld Help.

Things have been nice.

As you can plainly see, the forums have gone to hell. :D

Yeh. The two most interesting topics have been closed (After some amusing discussions and some annoying replies from a certain person who wouldn't except her views were unreasonable...not mentioning any names.) I would say welcome back but im tired and getting updated on an evil plan thing. So u'll just have to wait...

And I can tell that once the second factor posts, this topic won't last very long either...

Anyway, welcome back, I guess...

Fazerina 08-05-2002 04:30 PM

Oh please... I thought posting an "I'm leaving" topic is sad, but then you post an "I'm back" topic, and that's even sadder... ;)

Anyways, I'm back too, if anyone's interested. Most of you didn't even know I was gone, because I didn't make a topic about it. Like some people... :p I was in Lapland for 10 days and just came back this morning. We had to wake up at 5 and change trains in Tampere, which was really nice... :dead: But atleast I was able to sleep in the train, unlike Jonna.

Anyways, welcome back! Did you have fun in France? I'm sure they didn't even have any fun without us in here. ;) *goes to see what they've been doing*

Yeah, it's been closed because a certain someone was slangering and acting childish and starting arugments because people would not agree with him in a so called topic and being hypocritical. But no names mentioned though....

Anyways, welcome back interesting things had happened. :D

Edit: AS for the homosexual topic Jacob, you had the last remarks to make it closed and the abortion topic. Just let it go, stop being so childish. It's closed, get over it.

Jacob 08-05-2002 08:28 PM

Pinky, i dont know what your on about. I wasn't saying ANYTHING about you. But if you want to bring that up we also have to bring up the fact you said "ALL PEOPLE WHO HAVE RECREATIONAL SEX ARE SLUTS" Wich, so-so many people (Including Intern, probably) laughed at. Also, i could have you sued for Slander.

Sl'askia 08-05-2002 08:51 PM

Jacob...Pinky...knock it off you two...or else take it to PMs and/or emails.

Mac the Janitor 08-06-2002 02:49 AM

Yes, let's please stay to the topic. We don't want another fight breaking out(or at least I don't...).

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Welcome back, Danny!

When the topic you're arguing in is closed, you ought to take that as a fairly strong hint that the admins want you to stop arguing...

The holiday, anyway, was really fun. Beer is so cheap in France it's untrue - 11€ (about £7) could get us 26 bottles of Kronenbourg, which was probably why we ended up drinking over 260 between us... Wine, of course, was even cheaper, so we drank lots of that as well. At one point, my friend Tom (whose anality knows no bounds) calculated that we drank approximately 3 litres of pure ethanol during the week... :D

We spend most of the week either in the cottage, drinking, or in the bar across the road, drinking. Apart from drinking, we had a lot of water fights (what else do you do in that kind of heat?) and swam in the canal, which was clean and nice, not at all like British canals. Unfortunately, halfway through the week it began to piss down, and rained heavily on and off for the rest of the week, so the water fights were out...

For all the cheese-lovers on the forums, I would like to recommend french cheese. The camembert was gorgeous, as was the goat's cheese (goat's cheese and honey on toast... *drools*). Being vegetarian, there wasn't much on offer for me, as most french foods consist of meat. I lived on bread, cheese, omelettes, and chips. Oh, and tomatoes in herbs and olive oil *drools again*.

As for the hell that was the journeys to France and back again, I'll leave them to your imagination. Suffice to say, never trust National Express if you want to get anywhere. I wish the english public transport was as good as the french...

Wow, I'm green with envy! :D

Seems like you had alot of fun Danny Manny.

Hell yes.

EDIT: I forgot to mention this before. I don't know how I forgot it, but I did - I now have short hair. I let my friends Helen, Spixs, Allie, and Sian cut it for me in France. I'll try and get some pictures up soon, if I can...

I imagine he cut it because it was long...

PinkHaired Mudokon CWR 08-07-2002 01:09 PM

I think cutting your hair was for the best anyways Dan. You will look better with short hair, long hair for boys is so 80's.

Jacob 08-07-2002 02:49 PM

Depends, if its long and gelled up (Like James' from 'Teenage Kicks: Teenage Sex') then it looks ace. Otherwise id have to agree!!
