i found out that those little pink spoty things in the rainmakers video with the muds are humshrubs.....at least i think so....if you go to www.xbox.com/games/oddworld, at the bottom (or near it) theres a thing about abe using spooce made by harvesting humshrubs! hey-yeah!

You know I bet your are right. They kinda look like mushrooms (oddworld mushrooms anyway). And HumShrubs sounds kinda like a mushroom. I always thought they were little meetles or something, but I dont guess they look like it much.

i was wondering what those things were. For some strange reason i was thinking they were eggs, dont ask me why. I guess its because they are kind of shaped like eggs.

no, its not the video trailer, if you're talking about the rainmakers video....that one is an older video when munch was on ps2....you can check it out at www.oddworld.com.......and as i said....hey-yeah!

abe and alot of mudokons have the power to chant. Abe just didn't want to use it because he liked his job. Well before he found out that they wanted to chop him up and eat em :)

Once I thought that those little pink balls were Mudflubs, but after I noticed how they look like a mushroom, I have to agree with Elum, they maybe are these HumShrubs, indeed.

I thought they were meetle eggs. Well, they were egg-shaped and had meetle grub markings, so.

But I'd have to agree they are almost certainly Humshrubs. Cool!

When I first read this topic ... it didn't click. But now I realize I have heard the name "humshrubs" somewhere... probably when I was at OWI. Of course I forgot a lot of names and that from when I was there... it was information overkill!!!

Or maybe I did read about them on that site too... whatever it is, the sound like the name of some kind of plant/fungus.

i thought that all mudokons have a slight psychic power, but abe has more. that's why other mudokons have to work in groups to get anything done.

btw, i'm disappointed in abe's graphics on the pics, he seems badly done, and has no expressions. they seem to have concentrated on munch.

Rettick, remember that they're showcasing Munch because he's the new guy. We know Abe will be good - remember the Slig Toss videos?

Yeah his eyes are weird... but it's a hell of an improvement over the 1st series

I was just thinking that the humshrubs look less like mushrooms, more like puffballs. I don't where they can be found, except I know they're in Britain. They're basically tiny balls of white stuff, and when you break them open they're filled with thousands upon thousands of tiny spores. You can't find them often, but occasionally you get massive giants over a metre in diameter!!
