Wallace & Gromit: The Great Vegetable Plot

Hello there,

Those of you in the UK probably already know this, but I just found out that the new W&G movie is going to be called The Great Vegetable Plot. They are also working on a multi-platform W&G game, and 12 W&G animated shorts. I can't wait! Does anyone have any news on the latest W&G stuff?

2. Oh dear god, not another crap licenced game. Why did they have to do it to such a great franchise? R.I.P. W&G 2002/3.

3. Yay!

Yeah, I'm kinda worried, too. Usually movie games are horrible. I'm hoping that this one will be an exception, but I doubt it will be. They say they will create an entirely new story for the game, so that's a plus.

And then they'll tell us it's being written by some five year-old on work experience.

I can see the press-release now...
"I hope the plot about the kitty and the tu-tu will highlight the socio-economical issues of today's post-Stalinist capitalist democratic movement.
Can I have my lolly-pop now?"

I cannot wait for this film.

Aardman's also doing some more work for the Creature Comforts advertisements, and we should see some new CGI work after they've finished the next feature: Tortoise and the Hare.

By the way, English people (all of you) - is Rex the Runt available on DVD over there?

thebomb372 07-29-2002 03:40 AM

i dont know if they did or not

Yeah, I want to see this series. It looks very...interesting. But I have not seen it anywhere.

I've seen Rex the Runt on video in HMV, but not on DVD. I hope such a thing does exist, though... I loved Rex the Runt.

Chicken Run was ace; I'm looking forward to this W&G film.

They're making series two right now, I believe. And Wallace made a cameo appearance in one of the episodes.
