Aww, she's cute! I have a 9 month old male Boxer named Zeus. He's a medium-ish brown, with a black snout, and a big white spot on his chest. He's got a bit of white on his paws but not that much. We just got done giving him a bath cause last night he decided to take a big poo in his crate and he was rolling in it all night. Blegh! Dogs can be stupid sometimes. But you can't stay mad at them forever cause they're so darn cute! *Grabs Zeus and hugs him, then he attacks me* You stupid dog! *Zeus makes sad puppy face* Aw, like I said, you can't stay mad at them forever!

Disgruntled Intern 07-23-2002 12:48 AM

I have loads of animals.

First up, is Hunter, my male [and prized breeder] Sandfire Gold X yellow bearded dragon:

http://photo.redtailboa.org/albums/albuq11/hunter02.jpg

[This is hunter at about 4 months or so. He's now nearly two years old, and around 2 feet long.]

I just like this shot...:D
http://photo.redtailboa.org/albums/a...Hunterhead.jpg

Next up, are Dozer and Scud the spud, my two sub adult mali uromastyx. These guys are only about 6 inches right now, but in about a year or two, they'll be right around 2 feet. And scud, the male, will probably weigh a pound or two. These guys are really slow growing, and can live to be around 40 years old.

http://photo.redtailboa.org/albums/a.../Uromastyx.jpg

Next up, is Yoshi, my savannah monitor. I rescued yoshi from a pet shop. As it turns out, some girl dropped it off early that morning, because 'it was boring'. It also turns out that she had owned the poor thing for close to 3 months, and had only fed it about 4 times. When I took him in, he was malnourished, dehydrated, and had a parasite infection. And a calcium deficiancy. I'll post the before, and after pics. :)

This was when I first got him:
http://photo.redtailboa.org/albums/a.../sickyoshi.jpg

http://photo.redtailboa.org/albums/a...sickyoshi2.jpg

He was about 5-6 inches when I first got him, and as you can see, he was freakishly thin.

Within a month or so, I had him running along the road of recovery.

http://photo.redtailboa.org/albums/a...althyyoshi.jpg

The above pic is him after putting on some much needed weight, and recovering from his calcium deficiancy. Because he was still loaded with parasites, he was kept in a small, warm tank. The paper towels made it easier to check on his stool.

http://photo.redtailboa.org/albums/albuq08/healthy2.jpg
A blurry shot, but this is when he was finally all better.

Yoshi is now 29 inches long, and weighs a pound and a half. When full grown, he'll get to be around four feet, and weigh anywhere from 5-15 pounds. He eats one full grown mouse, and 20 super worms a week. Every one complains about the disposition of monitors, but he's a sweety. He's really bonded to me..

Disgruntled Intern 07-23-2002 12:54 AM

Next up, is Juju, my colombian boa constrictor:

http://photo.redtailboa.org/albums/albuq15/Juju.jpg
In that pic, she was around three feet. Now, she's about 6'3 inches, and weighs about 10 pounds. When full grown, she'll be anywhere from 8-12'. I'm excited, as she's my first 'big' snake.

Here's a shot of her gorgeous tail:
http://photo.redtailboa.org/albums/albuq15/Jujutail.jpg

and, her 6' X 3' X 3' oak cage that I'm oh so proud of.
http://photo.redtailboa.org/albums/a.../jujuhouse.jpg

Monty is my female royal python:

I bought her as a 16 day old hatchling. This is when I first brought her home:
http://photo.redtailboa.org/albums/a...0004.sized.jpg

http://photo.redtailboa.org/albums/a...0003.sized.jpg
This is the most recent pic. Although she's now about 3.5 feet.

This is Mala, my female indonesian blue tongued skink. She's full of piss and vinegar, and has a go at me every chance she gets. She earned her name, because it's the feminine version of the word 'bad' in spanish.

http://photo.redtailboa.org/albums/albuq17/mala02.jpg

I like this next pic, because it gives you an idea of how large her cage is. She's about 2.5 feet long, and that's only half of the cage you're looking at. I actually built that cage. :D
http://photo.redtailboa.org/albums/albuq17/mala01.jpg

Disgruntled Intern 07-23-2002 12:55 AM

Next up, are my two dogs.

Sammy:
http://photo.redtailboa.org/albums/albuq10/Sammy.jpg

Sammy is a pitbull/german shepherd mix. I saved her from being ripped limb from limb, as she was being used as a 'bait dog' to train the fighting dogs. She still has an immense distrust of people in general though. Except for me. :D She's also extremely protective of me....but as you can see, a real sweety.

Foxy:
http://photo.redtailboa.org/albums/albuq10/Foxy.jpg

This is a pic of when we first got foxy. She's well over ten years old, now. She's a wheaton cairn terrier. She hates me...oh man, it's almost scary how much she hates me.

NOT PICTURED: Spooky, and Sprocket, my rats. As well as Stimpy, my cat. And Micetro, my other cat, who weighs over 24 pounds. He's my big fat cat. He's fun to poke.

Sorry about all the pics, but that's what happens when you've got loads of animals, like me.

oddling 07-23-2002 01:08 AM

Wow! You really like lizards! I used to have Fishers Chamilion named Tie-Die, then I got a Leopard Gecko named Charmander. (I hate Poke'mon now) Shortly after I got Charmander, Tie-Die died, then a few months ago Charmander died. They're both 6-inches under now next to the big tree in the backyard. I also have three cats, the mother Minerva (Mom picked her name) and the two kittens she had a few months ago, Munch, and Abe. Obviously I picked out their names. Minerva is a really cool calico color, she looks like she's got lightning bolts on the side of her face. Harry Potter cat! Ahhhh! Munch is a girl, she has gray stripes and blue eyes, Abe is tan and has orange-ish eyes. They are both crawling on top of my head now, falling off, then repeating as necissary. Sounds like a pretty good life huh?

Armed Slig 07-23-2002 01:35 AM

I've got a female Leopard Gecko named Bruce (don't ask). I gave her to my friend Kev a few weeks later because he wanted a pet so bad I gave her to him.

Sydney 07-23-2002 01:54 AM

I have a lot of animals, but I'm not going to flood your connections with a picture of every one of them. So here's a photo of my cat, Templeton, basking in the sunlight through the screen door. I took this photo with black and white film and developed it myself in the darkroom:

Disgruntled Intern 07-23-2002 02:20 AM

Syd, would you prefer that I go back and make a link to each picture instead?

Sydney 07-23-2002 02:23 AM

I didn't mean to make a shot at you, but I can see why you took it that way. Your pictures are fine, your dog Sammy looks like a tiger. :)

Disgruntled Intern 07-23-2002 02:28 AM

Okie dokie then, I just wanted to make sure. :)

When she has her ears up, her face actually reminds me of that of a dingo.

If anyone has a really fat cat they want to sell let me know. I wish I had a really huge cat. I'd feed him and stuff.

He is just adorable, I often find myself stroking him at times.

Alcar...

quetzalcoatl 07-24-2002 02:32 PM

Disgruntled Intern, you must really like lizards! Syd, your cat looks like mine, mine cat is called Cleo and she's a real Teddy Bear, but she's a cat.

salty pretzils 07-24-2002 03:58 PM

I have a 3 month old choclate labradour named Jaffa. He may look cute but once I trod on his paw just when my sister had been being nasty to him and he dug his tooth into my back of my wrist, and dragged it along. That hurt and I have a mark on the back of my wrist nobody notices.
I'm a bit worried because his chin is devolpind a rough bumpy white surface and I think its serious but my mum won't take it to the vet and my rabbit got ill once and she didn't take it to the vet and it died whilst I was holding it...:(

Fazerina 07-24-2002 05:07 PM

I've got a two-year-old Golden Retriever, Fanny. If you want to see piccies of her, go here. There are 28 photos of my dog. Here you can find 5 videos of her. If you need more photos, I've got 226 photos of her on my computer... ;) The page takes ages to load, because all of the piccies are on the same page. Haven't fixed that yet, but I'll do it some day...

Oddness 07-28-2002 02:00 AM

My boys. :) Tabby is Murray, black is Jake.

quetzalcoatl 07-30-2002 03:44 PM

Jake looks almost exactly as my cat! Tjelvar is his name.
A very cute but irritating cat, who doesn't want to eat unless he gets the food to *his* bed. :fuzemb: :fuzemb: :fuzemb:
