I was reading this interview of Lanning and Sherry and there are some interesting facts in here that talk about up comming Oddworld games. It's long but you will find the question a little ways down the page.

Lanning said that this next Oddworld game will feel more like being in a film than a game and that they are abel to create fully completed 3D backgrounds instead of the stuff we have been seeing. That sounds promiseing guys. I honestly think we are in for something big much bigger than MO.

I heard that because of the console jump, OI wasn't able to take full advantage of the XBOX's technology. I'm looking forward to seeing what they can do with it, now.
