Oddworld as movie
I think Oddworld would be more famous if itwas a movie. I know a lot of guys who wentvery often to the cinema. So more people would know it (and because of ist originality like it) And think of this: watching a movie is much more cheaper than buying a game. Whyt do ya think?

The Oddworld Quintology was actually written to be a series of movies, and OWI still have plans to make them into movies.
The last I heard, the first movie is still about 5 years away. A long wait. :( I can't wait to see an Oddworld movie though, it would be awesome to see Abe on the big screen!!! Abe Babe... |

I think an Oddworld movie would be great! I know myself as well as many other people who would go and see it. Like you said Freaky, it might just make Oddworld more popular because of the amount of people who go to the movies.

But ehen a movie comes to the cinema, this would be very successful!!! It's going to be great to see The Oddworld Quintology finally in the big screen. think about two full hours of amazing CG sequencens featuring our friends, Abe, elums, the mudokons, gabbits, Glukkons, sligs,... Besides , I enjoy going to the movies a lot. I can imagine a OWI movie with a high quality, like "Dinosaur", from Disney studios.

hmm... i don't know, but i'm quite dubious about the idea. i feel that i'd probably be dissappointed with an oddworld movie for some reason. i think because it'd probably end up more as Exoddus that Oddworld, and i don't want to see a tacky OW movie. majestic yes, but tacky no.

i agree that an OW movie would be great. but overall it might increase its popularity. lots of people go to the movies. i agree with that. but most people that go to the movies dont like to watch stuff like an oddworld movie. most people go for crappy romantic comedies. i on the other hand would love to see an oddworld movie. five years, boohooo :( :( :( :( :mad: :mad:
