Munch's Oddysee: Help! :p
Hey everyone, I come in peace :)
Just in need of help (If there is a newbie help thread I have missed, I apoligise) After rescuing Munch from the ship (and abe and munchs hard fall ) and rescueing the mudokons and fuzzles :fuzvamp: Im on the part where you have to walk through a long corridor filled with Sligs, Slogs and Mines, OH MY! :D How do I get through? Also, my game is brand new, and on every sequence (except for the Experimenting On Munch sequence) jaggers/freeze's and continues. Is it possible to fix this as I cant see a single scratch or mark on the disc back. All help will be gratefully Appreciated |
Once you've got all three Native Mudokons, you'll find a piece of metal sticking out into the pond - there was a Slig there earlier, but Munch should have zapped him away. On it are three chant circles, which you must make the Mudokons chant in.
Doing this will open a water well, which Munch can then jump into. You'll be blasted to a new location. Use the Remote Control to hijack a crane, and you'll be able to clear this corridor with ease. I experience occassional jagginess/flickering during the video sequences (and my disk is clean), but it doesn't happen often enough to be really annoying. Are your problems always at the same point in the videos, or are they pretty random? |
Try rubbing the back of your disc really good with a smooth, clean cloth. My Games, CD's, etc. do this all the time sometimes you can fix it just by doing what I said and sometimes you can't.

Is it the corridoor where the Sligs are pulling the levers and the bombs drop from the ceiling? If it is I might be able to help you.
|
No. There is a very long corridor filled with Mines, Slogs and Sligs, but you have to get some mudokons down to the end to pull some levers. Its almost impossible to get past.

Ah, you're in Sloghut 1027. This is the most frustrating level so far, and until you get used to it it's quite tricky. Without giving away too much, have Munch take an Expresso, take him through the teleporter and get him to the end of the level. There's a handy Remote Control.
And before you take the Mudokons into this gauntlet of a corridor, have Abe run up and down it (with an Expresso of course). Something nice and explosive will happen to the Slogs. If Abe dies, you'll need Munch back at the beginning of the corridor to resurrect him. I'll leave it there for now, but if you really really need a clue about getting the Mudokons through, someone here will tell you. |
Ah, I getcha! Thanks Loads! :D
