Why is it that everyone has a soft spot for Sligs???

I guessing that in there own way, Sligs are slaves too. Yes they are Money Hungry and like the fringe benefits of working for the Gluckons (Mechanical Pants) but they are really an oppressed race too.

That or everyone likes Guns.

Actually, it is completely true. For those 8 hours a day that you may work, you are in total oppression by your boss.

Sligs love there guns, like they love their Slog! Anyone or anything who has a bigger and better firearm then they do is amediately praised and gawked at like a little schoolgirl with a crush. Sligs are the way they are because its the way they are raised, that and the fear of facing Skillya if they screw up.

that is exactly it Oddsville. I can really sympathize for sligs because they are going through a very uneasy life some of them like it prabably because they are afraid or they have been change to like there life style. i dont know. But sligs are being controlled from others and not themselves:fuzsad:

Yes easy but, not natural,Sligs are one of the species who have been blindly suffering due to the Glucks. industrialist have won over there naturaly kind hearts and now influence them to go against nature and against the spirits of Oddworld.

I have to disagree Xavier. Sligs born into cicvilization only no civivlization. They will never no what it was when there specie was kind and natural. All they know is that they must obey there masters and must torture any poor schmuck if comanded to, and they like it. They like it only because its all they ever knew. They are brainwashed to hate. The Raisin knows all of this and feels there pain and can sympathyse. Anyone can live a life without knowing what life is. The same with sligs. But i dont dissagree with you that they dont like what they do because its obvious that they do,but they only do it because they dont know any better. thats why i sympathise for them and for others. Its really sad. I can only hope that they will see the wrong. And i know they will.

No creature on Oddworld is evil like we said in my "lets amputate" Thread. they are only doing what they can. And life is full of complications so is Oddworld. I hope you understand.
