The planet of Oddworld isn't set anywhere in particular, but I think you'll find the creators, when interrogated, will tell you it 'takes place' in a different dimension/universe/reality/plane of existance to our own.

I don't like the idea oddworld could be in the same "dimension" as the Earth.

If it were as close as the moon to earth, It'd be really cool, coz all the Oddworldians cud take their holidays on Earth and we'd have vykkers and mudokons and stuff walking around the streets of London and New York, window shopping and stuff! And we could do the same to their planet. Hmmm... I wonder if they'd enslave us, or are we too good for them/too well respected/too tough? |

clearly there is no rome for humans and Oddworldians to live together,i imply rome as if i were to say that they would not get along.we would try to influence them and i dont think they would like.

I think Oddworld exists in the most deepest cornor of the Universe. In an unknown galaxy. When you play AO in the Stock Yards the night sky looks so unknown and so alien that it seems you were sent there and now you are lost somewhere in the Universe. It reminds me of sort of the "out skirts of the Universe" to me. A deep cornor on the edge of the Universe where you can look up and you could see the rest of the Universe. Odd isn't it!:fuzblink: :D
