Oddworld cars

Can anyone imagine what an Oddworld car looks like? If they had pedals who could use them? I mean it would be too hard for glukkons, vykkers legs would be too stumpy, it would be too arkward for sligs in there mechanical pants, interns legs would stick out too much and mudokons wouldn't use a car. Maybe the cars just have a whole lot of buttons and no pedals. Where would they go?:fuzconf: Vacation? Food shopping? What are your thoughts on Oddworld cars?

Xavier 07-05-2002 12:01 PM

no normal cars on oddworld, only mince cars, ballcars, trains, and lot more different vehicles. think odder, not so classic

scrabinator 07-05-2002 12:19 PM

But Alf once answered somebody about a glukkon named "gas station attendant"(or something like that) so there must be cars on Oddworld...

Xavier 07-05-2002 12:24 PM

humm I doubt there is.
there are some other vehicules.
Blimps forbably uses gas for deplacing
Slig pants use FocilFuel it can be that too

There will be certain types of vehicles in the Quintology and as the Quintology continues we will see more an more. What they look like and how they work is a mystery to me. My guess is that Glukkons aren't really car people sience they still use steam type engines to power there vehicles. But once Abe and pals get to the big city in the end of the Quintology we will be seeing lots of different types of vehicles.

the reson why I don't want to see "cars" is because it isn't original, it's so classic
Orrworld should have something other, more original.

FeeCo Trains, ballcars, minecars...Oddworld is awash with 'cars', although a more appropriate term would be vehicles. However, these are pretty linear forms of travel, so for the more adventurous person, blimps, pods and the famous Magog Motors are the thing for you.

Xavier 07-06-2002 03:06 AM

magog motors?
it's a factory, no? not a vehicle.
they built parts for vehicles, but that's the only relation.

ODDBODD 07-06-2002 06:35 AM

the vykker pods probably use feul

Wil 07-06-2002 07:02 AM

Magog Motors, as a factory, produces parts for vehicles, from exhaust pipes to gear sticks. However, there are Magog Motors, which are vehicles. This is one thing I can easily find the source of, so just hang on a tick and I'll go get it.

EDIT: Got it!

From the OddChat held with the development team at OWI, shamelessly copied off of Oddworld-Web:

:

[Mudos] Can you describe a new enviorment in Munch's oddysee?

A new environment? Hmmmm.... there's the Vykker's Labs, which is everything that the PETA folks have ever made you believe exists in an animal testing laboratory, right down to the walls covered with racks full of rusty, bent syringes... there's the polluted, dried plains covered with the tracks of new, gas-guzzling vehicles produced by Magog Motors...

Xavier 07-06-2002 09:51 AM

:

produced by Magog Motors
produced. the vehicles aren't called Magog Motors

Oddsville 07-06-2002 01:57 PM
