An Oddworld Movie?
 
Interesting idea, ne? Has anyone heard any rumors of one? I think have I have a while ago... but I can't really remember.

An oddworld movie would be........... AWESOME! Lorne Lanning, if he was the director, would make tonnes of money. Look at all these oddworld fans here? 8000 Aussie bucks already.

Yes, there will be one. OWI have confirmed it. Apparently it will be made after the quintology has been released.

Ah man! AFTER! *sighs*. Oh well. I do hope they dont speed up the games just for the movies sake. That would cause sloppy details throughout the games. Unless thay get more slaves... I mean employes!:D

The Oddworld Quintology was origanally planned to be 5 movies, but Lorne saw the potential of games and where they were going so he dicided to do that first.:fuzsmile:

i think it would be much better as a movie series, It would be way more popular than a game. Most of the gaming crowd go into the hardcore gaming and prefer oddworld as a loser gay game. If it was a movie series more people will be interested and more will be attracted to it and sooner or later games will come out and a whole francise will explode. My opinion

we know that the games rock. the movie we can only dream about. But to make it in our best liking we have to give them time to include whatever it is that is neccessary to make a dazling and Odd movie.:fuzsmile:

If they came out with the movies and then the games, then not as many people would buy the games cuz, as everyone knows, movie games suck. (With a few exeptions,though...)

Yep. Movie-games suck, but game-movies are better. Although tomb raider wasn't too brilliant.... I haven't seen Resident Evil yet.

And bomb, may I ask yoru sources? I would really dislike seeing Munch in the fisrt movie, that would require skipping AO and AE andany non-Oddworld fan would have no clue about anything. additionaly, the only movie game I have yet to see be good is Goldeneye(for gameplay). The Italian Job also looks ok.

maybe he found a tape "Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee snippets of da game" I think there was something like that for some prises.

movie games all depend on the company making the games, Having the movie then the games is cool because movie covers more storyline than a game does, Although a game lets you see more scenary but still you wont find any cool moments in a game that you can pick out in a movie. I'm sure if they made MO a movie then put the game out, the game would be alot like the ones in our homes (or for some, in their dreams)
