All By Myself (secret song)/Dookie/Green Day.

In no particular order. And they're just off the top of my head...
Devil Will Ride ~ Gomez, Liquid Skin Rie's Wagon ~ Gomez, Bring It On (Not actually the last track, but the actual last track is just a reprise of the first, and so doesn't count) Glory Box ~ Portishead, Dummy Skindiving ~ James, Laid I Think I Lost My Headache ~ Queens of the Stone Age, Rated R Get Away ~ Ocean Colour Scene, Mosely Shoals Nine Feet Underground ~ Caravan, In the Land of Grey and Pink New Song ~ Four-Day Hombre, Beaumont Street EP The Day After the Revolution ~ Pulp, This Is Hardcore You ~ REM, Monster I think if I had to pick a favourite, it would be Nine Feet Underground, by Caravan - it's over 22 minutes long... Calling it an album closer doesn't do it justice. Calling it the second half of the album would probably be more accurate... :D |

Radiohead's Amnesiac had the ending that wasn't an ending. Does that count?
In terms of actual albums, I'd have to say: 1. Queen: Greatest Hits Vol. 1 (best songs EVAR) 2. Radiohead: Ok Computer 3. George: You Can Take What's Mine Speaking of which, is anybody here familiar with the band George mentioned above? They're an Australian group that's risen in popularity over the last three years or so. Do you get their music in Europe and the US? If you don't, I'd strongly suggest you search Kazaa or something for the two songs 'Spawn' and 'Release'. Great stuff. |
Luke: I'm ashamed of you! All the songs on Insomniac sound the same... Nimrod was the only decent Greenday album...
Leon: It's not the Top 10 Albums, it's the Top 10 Album Closers. Pay attention. LuxoJr: What do you mean, "an ending that wasn't an ending"? My copy of Amnesiac doesn't have a hidden track or anything, it just ends with Life in a Glasshouse... |

Best album closers
Shut up you bastard! By primus Would? By Alice in Chains Like Suicide by Soundgarden |
oops...I meant Kid A. did you find the 'hidden' booklet, Danny?
To be honest, I never really listened to all of Amnesiac properly. Bought the album, didn't like it, shelved it. I should have also listed Don McLean's American Pie as one of the greatest tracks ever written and performed. |
