ARGHHH!!!!!!! Those bas... erhm, not yet fully informed peaple! There going to put the entire oddworld series on that stupid machine!


Cant they see, that we dont want to buy an Xbox!

So. I wont be able to play oddworl games untill I find a Xbox in the loacal trashbin. Thats the only way to get one.

You other peaple who dont own this thing. Whats your appinion of the fact that the next 4 games will never see your nice trustworthy pc?

I bought one. I like it. I'm getting a few more games for it. Maybe I even would have bought it without Oddworld nudging me in the direction.

You could also buy one. ;) *chuckle* (yes, lame. I'm guessing you don't have the money for one :( )

I am pleased with my Xbox it may have less really good games, but atleast it doesn't have all kiddie games like gamecube ( not saying Smash brothers, resident evil, etc. But I really like Xbox. ANd something even better the company Rare has signed a contract with XBOX, so we may be seeing a new Perfect Dark game and others.

Well, I'm quite looking forward to playing Blood Wake and Project Gotham Racing once I get the two, even if I only "bought" them for my mate... it's gonna be a while before the two of us move together, and I'm sure they're not boring games ;)

Well, rather sure, anyway. I'm not into shooting/racing games, really, but maybe these games will convince me.

XBOX rules, i already have like 8 games so far and im going to by a bunch this summer, alot of people are bying them now that the price droped

I'm enlightened by the fact I'm getting three more games soon. My 250$ is going towards JSRF, SH2, and Rally Sport Challange. And a PS1, price is 50$ now. And I still have 50$, maybe a third controller or something. Ah, the glory. And Xinos, do I sense X-Box hatred or anger at the lowered price?

I might buy one when ME comes out... I *am* peeved about it, no question about that, but perhaps when they become afforable... :fuzblink:

Yeah, i agree with oddness. If i see that there a lots oddworld games only on Xbox, well, i might just get me one myself. It is still not worth it.

Xbox will rule this fall with the release of Project Ego, Star Wars: KOTOR, Metal Gear Substance, Xbox Live, Unreal Championship, Brute Force, etc. etc. I already have 9 games for my XBOX and it is far more supirior then PS2 and GCN. The third party support is growing, most PS2 games will be on XBOX sooner or later and GCN is just lame. And Dark Xinos why are you denying yourself of the pleasures of XBOX?? When they say the next four games they mean MO, ME, SO, SE or MO, ME, HOO, SO.

Its just as affordable as PS2 ya know. And it does have the best games out in my opinion, and it can only get better. I say get one the first instant you can, its great.

They are working on the voice recognition and braintracking only for Xbox. And I can't wait till Project Ego comes out.

What the smeg is braintracking?

In the June 2002 issue of Official Xbox Magazine, they had an article about braintracking. Here's what they said:

"Even though speech recognition technology seems to be at the cutting edge of videogame science, there is an even more futuristic control scheme in the works for the Xbox. IBVA Technologies, a company that has been working on braintracking controls since the early '70s, is lobbying Microsoft to open up the Xbox Development Kit to support its technology."

"The controls would enable players to control basic game actions with their thoughts alone. 'For instance,' DeVito adds, 'if you're racing along in Project Gotham or RalliSport, and your concentration is broken, our system will pick that up and kick in the handbrake to spin control out of your hands. It's wild stuff, and we want to go much further.' "

So the best example of their technology they can give is something to monitor the concentration of a user. That's poor.

I'd like to see track changing (or similar) in, for example, racing games at the least. Like so:
*think: cycle track up*
*think: cycle track down*

Yeah, that would be cool!

Or if you were playing a war or shooter game, you could say, "Look out!" or "Cease fire!" or "Holy crap! that's one creepy alien! Go point and laugh at him to intimidate him!" and every soldier would hear you.

Xbox has heaps better stats than the PS2 or Gamecube, but until more games are released and are of good quality that the Xbox will be seen for its true power.

Never under estimate the power of a P...ah i mean Xbox!

Mah! so what the xbox has started to go down in price well at least here it has it's gone from $499.99 to $299.99 so i'm just gonna buy one now then the entire oddworld seris will be mine! ha ha he he ok then i'm a little nuts i guess because i'm new here but still just wait for the xbox goes down in price then buy one but it would be nice to have it on pc oh well

Just remember that Xbox has many good furture titles. Take into consideration that PS2 only had a handfull of good games for the begining. And Mojo MAn don't forget Star Wars Jedi Outcast is coming this fall to Xbox.:) ( Originally a PC exclusive.) But I'd have to say Xbox is the best system on the market right now.
