Strange thing in Munch's Oddysee
Have someone else noticed that some things shown in the Munch's Oddysee E3 video are missing or are different in the final game?
For Example, the Abe's ability to climb cliffs has been removed and the native mudokons look very different in the final game, also, where's the slig toss?!? Was all this only on PS2 maybe? OOOOW! Someone help me! I'm confused :confused: |
Yep, these things were all meant to be on the ps2 version, but they removed them because of the shortage of time when they changed it to XBOX

you can still pick a ennemy and toss him in a recycler...
but you can't throw him from a high tower :( |
to bad they took "the slig toss" out of the final game that sounds cool, i still think that its one of the best games i have played :D

If you can find a copy of the original MO demo (came with 2nd issue of Official Xbox Magazine), they still have the climb vendo in that. Not much else that is interesting in the demo otherwise. Just a bunch of spooceshrub collecting and a little bit of assistance between munch and abe.

You said the natives looked different in the PS2 version. Do you have a pic? How much of a difference was there?
