15,000 Kangaroo's have been set a terrible fate
 

For those of you who do not live in Australia there is going to be a massacre of 15,000 Kangaroo's up in an army camp located in Victoria in just a matter of days. The reason being is because the camp is already home to 100,000 kangaroo's and the camp says there are just far to many kangaroo's around the camp area. So 15,000 kangaroo's are going to be shot dead just because there are to many of them (Such a poor poor excuse). Protestor's have been warned not to intervene, because harsh penalties will apply.



Why can't they just send 15,000 Kangaroo's to a place were they would be better appreciated? Oh let me take a guess, maby it's because it will take up to much time and money so the cheaper quicker alternative will be to kill them, it's sad that nothing can be done to stop this.

No that's not the reason. The reason is because the kangaroos are eating themselves out of house and home and they are going to starve. They have no natural predators; the dingoes are nearly all gone so they have no choice but to shoot them. It is sad but they would die if they didn't shoot them.

The real issue is that Puckpunyal military personnel didn't do anything to prevent and eventually halt the growth boom. Ever since they removed the sheep stationed at the base, kangaroo population increased exponentially.

For the life of me, I can't think of another solution for the problem. Something definitely has to be done; kangaroos have even been attacking local residents within developed suburban areas. Maybe they can bribe them off with novelty boxing gloves or something.

It would be best to train the army camp up on them...I.E Allow the Snipers to take them out.

Yeah, that's such a good use of army time and money.

Have all the problems with humankind been solved, Leon? Is that why you've decided to not hate every non-human animal for not being human?

Ok i know were this is coming from you obviously have not forgotten about what i said in that whale topic, i take back what i said there it was stupid of me and i apologize.. You shouldn’t think i hate animals, i probably know more about them then you do anyways. And i don't think problems with humankind have been solved yet (Look at the man in charge of the most powerful nation on earth, can't even swallow a pretzel properly).

Did you know that in some Army camps they actually trained by allowing beetles and rats to run around in the base. The Snipers then used to try and take them out, exterminating the infestation but also perfecting their shot.

So u know their weakness' and thus can kill them quicker.
