Scol

Just curious.

1) Who here knows of the existance of scol:// sites?

2) Of those, who here owns SCOL Voy@ger?

3) Of those, who checks out Cryopolis from time to time?

If your answer to 1 is "I don't": SCOL sites are 3D internet sites. You get an avatar and you move around in whatever site you are in in real time. Anyone who is within "hearing range" you can chat to with text or voice chat. T'was developed by Cryo Networks. If you want to check out Cryopolis: www.cryopolis.com
Don't kill me if it's the wrong URL, reply and I'll actually bother looking it up again ;)

If you own SCOL Voy@ger and still never were to Cryopolis: scol://scol.cryopolis.com:Cryopolis

^_^ *blatant advertising, because Cryo Networks doesn't seem to want to do that themselves - at least she's never seen anything*

Come to think of it. What IS EverQuest, anyway? Heard of it a million times or so, never really bothered asking.

Yes, and again, I don't get your point. I get your point less than I got Gluk's. O_O *is just generally lost, here? Must be*

EverQuest is a MMORPG (Mass Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game). You create a character (14 races and 15 classes to chose from) and you go out and killing monsters, due quests, etc. You play along side other players from all over the world and you can talk to them via a chat room like window. *merrs* Let me see...I got a screenshot somewhere....

Blast...I don't have any good ones to show ya...this one will have to do. I had to lightning it up so you can see it clearly *loves Photoshop*

(GAH! Stupid screenshot is too big to be an attachment...*opens Picture-it*)
-Screenshot-

Some of the text got blurred due to the upload I am afraid...

Thanks for that.

Well, it's certainly more complex than I thought it would be from what I heard. Though my one friend's addicted to it. He's draconic too... do you guys have a knack for this? *laughing*

Anyway, why'd you call it Evercrack if you (seem to) like it? Or crack as in addicted? I'm lost. I'm just so lost!

I need a new braaaaaiiiiin @_@

Edit: I've decided to explain my simplemindedness with the weather being screwy. *glares at the sunshine* yuck.

Crack as in addicted. *tries to think of something else to add so this post wouldn't be considered spam* *fails* D'oH...

Okay, now I get it.

Gluk, BTW, does Voy@ger really have a lot of adverts? I've not been pestered with any and so I'm wondering if I'm just very lucky. I know it's pretty badly coded (heck, it makes my computer crash, though it works flawlessly on this one), so I can understand the shite thing, even if it's a pretty strong way to put it ;) but I'm lost about adverts.

One at the top and one at the bottom. Unless Disney Land means something else in Spanish...

I call it shite because any motion is jerky, the movement is very difficult - I kept over-turning because of slow drawing. All very dodgy.

1: That's Cryopolis, not Voy@ger. :) Cryopolis is your usual internet site. Just go to yahoo and you'll see ads. Also has nothing to do with Internet Explorer ;)

2: Curious: Do you have a broadband or modem connection? It's not jerky for me and I have DSL, maybe slower connections get jerky movement. I really don't know. I used to have 56k and tried Voy@ger on that, but I can't remember whether my movement was jerky (considering my comp was full of dll conflicts (urk) and killed Voy@ger all the time anyway v_v)

1. I'm talking about the thing you download and move around the maps with. It has some Spanish adverts at the top and the bottom of the window.

2. 56k modem.

(1) Um, nooo. I know what you mean. It's Cryopolis. It's a scol thing: Each site has a unique interface coded into it. Try another site and you'll see. Voy@ger is the thing you see when you doubleclick on the SCOL icon in the taskbar.

(2) Aaah, okay ^_^
