Signing up to MSN Messenger using a non-Hotmail address
I know this can be done; does anyone know how? MSN is giving me problems, so I want to try and get a new account and see if it works better, but I don't want to create yet another email address to have to check, so I want to use one of my current addresses. How do I do this?
(The address I want to use is a Yahoo one, but I've seen people signing on to MSN with other web-based accounts, so I shouldn't think that would be too much of a problem.) |
I may not be as much help, as I signed up for MSN with my earthlink mail addy ages ago. (that and they rearranged things since then.)
The only way to sign up for MSN using a non-hotmail addy is to sign up for a NET Passport. erm...*looks to see if she can find the link* Here it is: http://register.passport.com/reg.srf...ople%2Emsnw%3F |
Thanks. I could only find the Hotmail .Net Passport signup thingy before, and (of course) that one only allowed me to use a Hotmail address...
EDIT: GRRRRRRness! I can sign in fine, and I can see who's online, and I can see alerts, but Chat Windows just look like a big blue mess, with scattered bits of the rest of the window around... |
