Spidar Man today!

Well today in the US, marks the first day for the line of exciting summer movies. I read in the news paper this mourning that Spidar Man got good reviews. So I think I am going to go see it. Finally there is a super hero movie that sticks to the traditional innocent comic book theme. For what I have seen so far it looks really good. I am so glad they used the original look for Spidar Man and not some kind of black and red armor type suit or something like that. Just your typical frendly neghborhood Spidar Man. I wounder if they are going to make an Iron Man movie or a remake of the Incredible Hulk or the Fantastic Four? That would be fun.

pinkgoth2 05-03-2002 11:53 AM

Do you know if the PSX Spiderman theme was also used for the movie? It's something no one's been able to tell me so far, I just know Apollo440 did a remix of the classic for the PSX game "Spiderman". Since I don't know who has Soundtrack rights for the movie, I'm just lost. If it's not Sony, then just yell and tell me I'm wrong. (at least I doubt a Sony track would be released anywhere else)

- TyA, curious

I like the way the games are called 'Spiderman: The Movie.'

It doesn't look like a bad movie though. I might buy the Xbox version because the PSX demo of it I have is very playable.

Hm, I've had an interesting day. I was suppose to see spider man this afternoon with my friends, but because of my music lesson that ended up canceled kept me from going. So I hung around in the teachers lounge and watched Spongebob...

VykerSawBones 05-03-2002 11:33 PM

it would be cool if they put the darkavengercrew in a movie

Mac the Janitor 05-04-2002 02:54 AM

paramiteabe 05-04-2002 12:57 PM

Well I am planning on seeing it on Monday because it is now my summer vacation and I figure it won't be as crowded at the theaters on Monday as it was yesturday.

The only thing I think they kind of messed up on was the look of the Green Goblin. He looks too power Ranger like but oh well I think it will be good anyway. I heard they are going to make three films I think the next one will have Venom and the third one will have Carnage.

*sigh* There have been two movie-unrelated PSX Spiderman titles, and the newest Spiderman game will take place within the movie, hence the title. And yes, Spiderman is wicked-awesome. I saw the movie, and I cried. No kid. There are some disturbing parts, and absolutely NO parts that were tongue-in-cheek. It was tremendously good. Go out and see it. Right now. I'm not kidding.

You're still here.

Majic 05-04-2002 06:16 PM

Like half my friends saw it yesterday, my brother saw it on a date, and some other kids I know are going today. How come I have to see it tomarrow... And everyone sys its good......

Abeace abeace abeace... When will you learn to press the ittle button labled "caps lock" to make your typing legible? Not to mention I really can't read what you wrote, the caps lock combined with 9 blatant typos combined with hideous grammer and a rather dreadful writing style. Well I'm glad you enjoyed it and gave it a, er, 7 out of 1. Yay, I get to see it in, um, 9 hours or soemthing. And basicly all my freinds have seen it. *Jealous*

Yeah! the HULK is already in production, it will be released in the summer of 2003. The Daredevil is already in production, the Fantastic Four is already in production, the Iron Man is already in pre-production! Geez, it seems that all the great Stan Lee's superheroes are going to be in a movie in the next couple of years.

Spiderman's soundtrack is signed by Danny Elfman, the same guy who did the music of Batman, The Flash, Dick Tracy, and another bunch of comics superheroes movies.

Danny Elfman's da bomb. He also did the soundtrack to all of the Tim Burton movies. I have action figures of Lock, Stock, Barrel, Jack, and the Oggie Boogie man! :P

Anyways, yeah, the movie *again* very, very, very good. Out of a scale for 1-10, I'd give it somewhere around 30-ish. And the theme song is good, too.
*sings* Spiderman, Spiderman, does whatever a spider can...Spins a web, any size, he's the dude bad-guys despise, lookout, here comes the Spidermaaaaan.....
*in his hands with a funky voice* Spiderman, Spidermah--Spiderman. Whi-whi-whi-friendly neighbourhood Spiderman. *wicka wicka!* Spiderman, Spidermah--Spiderman. D-D-D-Does whatevah a Spider can....Lookout! Here comes the Spidermaaaaan.....:fuzemb:

I have the "Planet Of The Apes" OST, which is excellent. Still prefer "Escape To Beyond The Planet Of The Superape" by Apollo 440 to it (if anyone cares, it's the B-Side of the not-so-good Charlie's Angels 2000 remix they did). *innocent grin*

Um, something tells me you might just like the @440 remix of Spiderman. *chuckle*

I so wanna see that movie!!!!:fuzcool:

morphius 05-05-2002 10:56 PM

Can any one tell me from seing the movie, on a scale from one to ten, how good it is (10 being the highest)?

Joe the Intern 05-05-2002 11:14 PM

I really want to see that movie! I played the Xbox game and it kicked lots of ass. And last night I was watching MTV2 (Gasp!) and saw the video for The Ramones's version of the Spider-Man theme song.

morphius 05-05-2002 11:18 PM

The only problem with the spider man video game is where is he attaching his web to when he swings around on the roof tops, the sky?

Joe the Intern 05-05-2002 11:25 PM

Yeah, you're right. That was my only complaint about the game. Otherwise it was fantastic.:D

morphius 05-05-2002 11:34 PM

I must say though the spider man game is of high quality and this aspect can be ignored, do to all of its good aspects............

paramiteabe 05-07-2002 01:38 PM

Great movie great acting even for the Green Goblin they used a good actor for him. But the suit I don't know looks too silly. But Spidar kicked A** I recomend it. They are planning on sequels too.
