Is the XBOX faulty.
 

i just wanna ask is the Xbox faulty because they say it's not that good... and now i'm not allowed to get it any more and i have to save up (5 dollars a week)

The first examples of the X-Box had a fault, which had to do with the CD thing being too high (or something like that), causing discs to get scratched. But any newly manufactured one should be flawless - that's just about everywhere outside the US.

And whether it's good or not I can't say, I'm no expert, but it certainly is better in graphics and sound to the Playstation2. Not sure about the relation to the *nicks term* lunchbox (Gamecube).

Of course it isn't faulty. Who says it's no good? They're just Sony or Nintendo fan-boys/girls.

What other system can you get DoA3, GTA3, Halo, MO, THPS3, JSRF, and PGR on?

i have no problems with my XBOX, never froze or nothing, does not scratch up my cd, if it did you would see me like this :flames: but im like this :D

Hm, GTA3 is coming out, woo hoo... Abbreviation, eh? Heh, that makes it all the more, er, cooler... But hey, find extra jobs and do stuff for nieghbors, X-Box is perfectly safe... Or as safe or safer tahn any other system out there. Besides, you wont trip over the controller cable and have it fall on you (like playstation, ouch) and you wont have any lid slam on your hand (ouchies...). That seems like a good enough reason;)

The Xbox is ahead of the rest, I myself am a Playstation 2 fan mostly but i dont let that get to me, Xbox by far is the best so far. Unfortunately it's sales are going very poor in Australia, Europe, Japan and maybe even the US.

Oh my satan. That is bad. I thought GameCube would be better than that, even though I expected it to be worse than the XBox... again, I overestimated something I was told I underestimated. Jeesh, that's scary.

Hey, now. So far, the detail in most GC games is fairly good.

My US xbox scratched one of my disks, but that's just because of something stupid that I did. I had forgotten and left my Halo disk in, and I wasn't looking when I put an OXM disk in on top of it. (Don't ask, even I don't know how I put it in without realizing Halo was already there.) The OXM disk got all scratched up, but my Halo, thankfully was untouched. The OXM disk still works, the disk just looks funny.

Ouch dude, that must be whacked. And its funny, I did my last post here at school. My friend next to me went whacked and hit me saying "Dude!". I must admit, Rouge Leader and SSB Meele (yes...) are pretty good. But X-Box andDreamcast are still the top two systems!!!

What i find shocking about the Gamecube is the Polygons per second it produces, it worse than the PS2.

Yes...... I'm sick of people who say that. There like "O, Microsoft sucks, they don't make game systems, o its to expensive, o the games suck" Crap like that. Excuses excuses...

Even the people who claim Windows to be unstable. Sure, there's people who really know the difference, but there's so many people who just take it for granted and diss MS Win for instability whilst it may not piss them off personally at all! That's what I keep being surprised about, how people refuse to think for themselves again and again.

And the argument "Microsoft/Gates is too rich"... uhm. Why should I care who gets my money? I just want the console. *chuckles*
