Mel Brooks Movies!
Pretty much my favorite Mel Brooks movies are
1. History of the World part 1 and 2 2. Space Balls! But Space Balls is my favorite. I like Pizza the Hutt and Yogert. Plus I like the seen when Presidant Scroob gets beamed up into the next room by Snoty! That was helarous when he got his body turned backwords. He's like "Why dident anybody tell me my A** was so big!" Plus when that one black dude from the Police Acadamy movies was like makeing all those radar sound effects. I think that movie was great! I also heard of a rumer that they might make a second one. Like a prequel to Space Balls, I don't know. |
I hate Mel Brooks, but the least offensive of his horrors would be Blazing Sattles. Is that how you spell sattle? I've not the energy to check.

Fuzzy dice
Eh, he started out intelligent and funny, with The Producers... I think that was his funniest and most clever film... Then Young Frankenstein was okay... Blazing Saddles wasn't (too) bad... Then he started making films that relied on flatulence and immature sex jokes. Well, The Producers was good, but generally I think his movies are stupid and just not funny... My opinion....

I rather like the plot of The Producers, but I don't like how he actually did the movie. The idea is genius.

Well, I liked most Mel Brooks films. It's the best slap-stick comedy around. It's not for everyone, I get it, but it's for me. Blazing Sattles (Im going on your spelling) was a good one. Young Frankenstien was good... but of course not as funny now because of modern comedy-standards. Monty Python is still the raning gods of the comedy world for me. The Search For The Holy Grail and The Meaning of Life are fan-****ing-tastic movies, and Flying Circus was great... though Life of Brian was a terrible piece of shit.
Sorry, getting off track with my Monty Python fixation. Will try not to do in the future.:) |
I think Mel brooks movies/fims are funny in the way makes things and his use of twists can be very amusing but if they are taken seriously and literally they can be very crude and disturbing (as well as offensive)...Some of the older ones though do portray and depict historical events in the past very accuratley(with the comedy).

Space Balls was probally the best one I like the most of his movies. But you are right Monty Python rules. I like Monty Python and the flying Circus. That was a cool show. For some reason It went off the air where I live that sucks. But I go and rent the movies at least. :fuzblink: British Comedy is the best!
